Interesting. Putting this one on my BGG wish list for consideration mainly bc it plays 6 and our game group is always looking for 6 player games we can start game night with before our campaign/Legacy game of the evening. Thanks for the review!
Great review as always. I thoroughly agree, I've been really enjoying this game as well. In fact I gave it very high marks in my review too.Andrew Hanson is a first time designer, but I will definitely be on the lookout for his next game.
1. The crowns are possibly the worst playing pieces in the history of boardgames. They are more deadly than stepping on a lego. They could have made the game age 6+ if they left out the deadly needles on the top of the crowns. They don't even look like crowns in the game. 2. This game has NO THEME! It is just pasted on window dressing. This game can literally be played with poker chips and a deck of cards. (in fact its main variant requires a box of poker chips.) It would have been great if the theme had been utilized at all. 3. By another name, this game is multiplayer Texas Hold'em. You have knowledge of 2 cards and bet on "hands" based on a 4 card "river". 4. There is nothing to do except bid on hands. That is the entirety of the game. it is very much a "filler" game. 5. for a $50 list price Its far too simplistic of a game to warrant its price tag IMO. This box was more of an excuse to sell plastic and paper when the game could be a one page .pdf a la cheapassgames, played with gaming items on hand. In the end, it is FANTASTIC for what it does right. Bidding, Bluffing, and Auctioning. If you like bidding/bluffing games this will be right in your wheelhouse. If you are not a fan of these kinds of games, there is nothing else here to hold your attention.
Can't. Stop. Staring. At. The. Boom. Mic.
I was waiting for a Black Dynamite moment.
Played this on the Dice Tower Cruise and was taught by Tom himself...great game!
Good lord the thing hanging down in view in the final thoughts totally gave my husband a heart attack because we thought our tv was broken 😂
Looks fun! may have to add this to the Christmas list.

Yes, please do. I'm excited for that one.
Tom putting Vasjolnir to work, BAM!
couldn't find a bigger hammer..?
Hmm, carrot slices...
The 70's looking chick Tom mentions looks like Vanessa Huxtable from the Billy Cosby Show.

Kind like "Casino Roulette". Seems pretty nice
Exactly my thoughts. How hasn't anybody thought of a game like this before? Looks really cool
awful artwork and gameboard design
The gameboard looks like it has toilet seats for the locations...hmm
My copy of Double Double Dominoes is more beautiful than this.
The artwork is very well done, but I agree the overall graphic design loos amateurish
