Music through Rich is what made me see how "cool" God is. At a concert in Anderson, Indiana, I said, "Wow, God is so cool!" And, have praised him through the valleys and on mountain tops ever since.

I remember he performed at my high school in Carol Stream, Illinois - Glenbard North High School - it was standing room only. After hearing that he was in a bad car accident and the Lord called him home on the radio, I cried. Thank you Rich Mullins for your music. Your music lives on

God used Rich who was acquainted with deep anguish of heart, to teach us, that we are not unique in our loneliness, grief or pain. Rich showed us that we could talk to, and be real with God, even at our lowest. Rich had an untimely departure, in our own limited comprehension. Many of us felt left behind, in our grief. Maybe because Rich's songs allowed us to express to God, our finite human condition. Somehow, we knew, Rich understood what we could not express. We had no idea how much Rich did understand. In our estimation, God took Rich home early. And we learned, that we will never have all of the answers. Those can only be found in Christ and in a wholesome relationship with God. Praise Jesus Name. Praises to God and His Infinite, Eternal Glory. God purify us please. May our lives point others to You.

Beautiful .........Funny thing, I seen Ray Bolts up here in Kalispell before I was really saved and this song brought alot of emotion to my heart then, a few years later I seen Rich and Mitch here as well and yes, Rich impacted me greatly then as well. When I finally gave in to the Lord I was blessed for years after that playing in worship teams and albums and on the very forst worship practice I had as I was leaving afterwords I turned on the radio and heard the news about Rich....Now Im almost 65 and I lost my only son who was 35 five years ago. Im alone now but I know my Redeemer Is Coming! I just watched a 1.5 hour YT on the last days of Rich staying with the Kruse family.. Highly Recommended

I’m so sorry for you’re loss. I can’t imagine. I wonder at times why these fine people go so soon. They had so much to offer but it seems they gave what they needed too and served as they should. One day yes all shall unite again. God bless.

I became born again, believer 2 yrs, after Rich's car accident. The songs like these I sang as a new believer in Christ.

Just found this tribute...thank you for making it, and using this song. I had forgotten about it, but it is truly beautiful. Thank you Ray Boltz. Every time I hear it I cry.
We are such flawed human beings. We try hard, but it is only through Christ can our trying be acceptable. HE takes our meager effort and magnifies it to something useable to His cause. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for Your mercy and generosity. For the “arrows pointing to heaven” you leave as markers that You are here. Come, soon.

Years later after writing this song Ray Bolts left his wife and children and to this day is actively advocating for a homosexual lifestyle. The song lyrics glorify a human being as opposed to Jesus Christ, which explains in part why the author decided to partake in the most human fleshly sin of all (homosexuality). Ray Bolts is an open activist for homosexuality. Those calling themselves Christians and praising Mr Bolts should examine themselves thoroughly in the light of God's Word. Christianity is not based on emotion. Christianity is based on the fact that Jesus Christ died to save sinners and those that believe are saved from spending eternity in hell paying for their own sin. Praise God Christ did not rely on his emotions when He willingly went to the cross to pay for the sins of those who believe. If you want real emotion, I invite you to please read the gospel accounts of the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
