Everyone under 40 has been sold out.
We need to all make a stand very soon.
We all need to say “we’re no longer paying rent”.
Something has to change. Couples can’t even afford to have a child now, how could the government do this to its people.

Funny how the problems have all come about since 2-3 million people have arrived since 2022

Overpopulation has been a problem in Australia since 2000. Globally since the 1970s.

@@pmcamacho6447 I think you're missing the point, a Labor government has thrown the Australians to the wolves

@@ozwasp I'd agree that Labor mass immigration these last 3 years has been irresponsible and fuelled the housing crisis problem. It was Howard and Costello that created the conditions that have eroded public equity in housing, utilities, services and inflated the influence of negative gearing, capital gains tax and upper class welfare. These policies have destroyed egalitarian Australia.

It's a conflict of interests most of the Labor MPS own multiple properties. If Labor fixes the Rental Crisis, they will all lose money. Labor wants the Rental Crisis to get worse. The Greens are wrong about Immigration the main reason for the Rental Crisis is Immigration.

No it's not! The government sold and demolished so many housing commission and didn't rebuild so they had to rent a massive portion of private rentals through lend-lease to house everyone.
Plus they don't tell you how many Australians are permanently leaving Australia. In 2023 220k left

It's the corporations that want and need immigration, to create never ending downward pressure on wages so they can maximize profits without causing inflation. And they are the people behind the propaganda against immigration, they want you to blame the humanitarianism of the left on this problem so that they won't be held to account.

Many greens politicians also own 2 to 4 properties so this is not an exclusive club. All politicians must do a financial disclosure of what they own but is an easy internet search

houses were way cheaper prior 1996 before the formation of the green party. That's why i got in to property investment in 1997 and started to Vote greens in 2000 when its value almost doubled because they rejected the 1500 house subdivision near me due to a frog.

Don't pretend that you voted Green. You just want to be a landlord in the concrete slum across the eastern seaboard. You're the problem.

Build singapore style HDB community towers and do long term leases, you don't have to build new houses in the middle of nowhere if you reset expectations. Singapore also makes them a priority for citizens and permanent residents in terms of access. They also control the ethnicity mix so you don't get the ghetto outcomes

Yep, that why i switch to greens and labor, the rent cap was the best thing ever, I can put all the escalation, inflation and interest risk upfront. no meed to wait. pretty simple, its refereed to as spot price vs futures contract price in business.
