I'm trying not to, but I cry each time I listen to this song. The powerfull way she says "la terra e terra", sounds to me she refers to the fact that her father was put in the ground after he died, and it's so strong and emotional, how she cuts to the chase, without hasitation, with all the brutality of that situation.
And than those two words that strike and pierce straight through the heart ..."nostra casa"... ".. mamma".. so vulnerable. .just amazing

But there is this image of old people that you barely know, hugging her mother and trying to gossip on their sadness, while she holds deep in herself her truth about the deceased person, and how she had to return home and be there receiving people despite that people not worrying at all about her before.

E quando doveva scriverla a 50 una canzone cosi? A venti anni nei paesi normali si fanno figli e ci si sposa e si aprono attività lavorative. In Italia invece i ventenni vengono visti come bambini lobotomizzati e ci si sorprende, o li si critica, se si emancipano da questo cancro culturale tutto italiano. She talks about when her father died, she turns to him telling him that she has made peace with her pain because he left her alone and she was afraid and she talks about the moment of all those people who came to the house to offer condolences but not all of them honest, she was 13 years old and she was angry because she was looking for love from people but she only received pinches on the cheek from old ladies as if they didn't consider the pain of a little girl but she was the one who needed the most to give peace to that trauma (she the daughter of a famous Italian singer who died during a stage show and that day she was present at his concert)

Among the various singers that Angelina can be, there's a rock singer too. It doesn't come explicitly forward yet (for obvious reasons) but you can feel it can be there, under the layers of other styles. She has the intensity and emotional stance when she wants, she knows how to translate it to voice techniques.

Dire che questa canzone parla solo del funerale del padre è riduttivo. Non posso essere troppo esplicita per vari motivi, ma cercherò di spiegare qualcosina in più: lei ama la sua terra ma è dovuta, insieme alla sua famiglia, "scappare" da lì troppo presto perchè la situazione dopo la morte del padre era diventata insostenibile: persone di famiglia che si sono approfittati di loro tre(lei, sua madre e suo fratello), del loro dolore, della loro vulnerabilità, che gli hanno fatto del male vero. Le "vecchie signore" che le facevano le condoglianze di circostanza,senza capire ciò che stava provando,ciò che stava succedendo. Lei che davanti a tutta questa falsità e cattiveria non riusciva a respirare. Parenti sciacalli seduti alla loro tavola a Natale falsi, ipocriti, sciacalli e cattivi. Non tutti naturalmente, solo una piccola parte ben conisciuta. In tutto questo lei nella rabbia dei suoi 13 anni, per quello che era successo, dava la "colpa" a suo padre: le ha fatto paura(morendo sul palco improvvisamente davanti a lei) l'ha lasciata sola ad affrontare una situazione diventata insostenibile(i bastardi di Natale) con i, anzi con IL parente sciacallo che gli ha messo contro buona parte del paese. E solo dopo 10 anni, è riuscita a far pace con lui, elaborando il lutto e capendo che ciò che è successo dal momento in cui suo padre è morto, non era colpa sua(del padre). Sia lei che io non abbiamo potuto essere più esplicite ma, chi doveva capire, ha capito. Lei aveva bisogno, indirettamente, di farglielo sapere. Povera piccola Nina, quanto male ti hanno fatto💔❤
Non ne sapevo niente. Purtroppo queste dinamiche sono comuni in moltissime famiglie, ma oltre alle schifezze interne immagino la sua famiglia (lei, mamma e fratello) quanto abbiano dovuto soffrire buttando giù rospi per non mostrare queste schifezze al pubblico e ai giornalisti affamati di "dramas".

Lei, ha detto che questa canzone parlava di un amor perduto e, perdonato.. dopo anni... SUPERLATIVA !!!!
Anche "la casa che ti caccia di casa" è significativa... e così il termine "vampiri"...
Sì, il testo lascia ben intendere il dramma consumato... oltre al lutto che ha avuto bisogno di anni per essere elaborato, non prima però di aver ritrovato la pace interiore ed essere giunta al grande Perdono per quell'Assenza ritenuta ingiustamente responsabile della sofferenza vissuta...

It's too personal (it talks about her dad's death when she was 12 and his funeral) and if she participated with this song in Sanremo, everyone would tell her that she uses her grief to win (her dad was a very famous italian singer, Pino Mango who died too soon from heart attack during his concert).
