Thank you for sharing! I've been looking for videos that would demonstrate how they would grow if self seeded and their spacing, showing the full top to bottom growth habit of the full plant. It looks like some seem to still flourish even when tightly spaced. So helpful! I hope your garden self seeds successfully again this year.

I love hollyhocks very much. For some reason white ones don't grow in my garden. Only pink and burgundy. Yours are very beautiful. Especially gently pink and salmon.

I’m addicted to Hollyhock videos. I’m having a love affair with them alas by virtual streaming. Could never grow them however way I try. by seed, seedlings , adult plants! But I’ll still try. One day I might just meet the right cultivar that will love me too. ❤️👌😘

Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed the video. We plan to make seed available to as many interested people as possible later this year. It would be lovely to see the line growing in a fellow enthusiasts garden.

Go for it! so do the ones here and in Blakeney where we grow them on the north coast, they take a real pounding and still look good all summer

Never could grow them; bugs completely exfoliate them and my resident Michigan ground hog eats them down to nothing. I got only one bloom this year so thanks for showing what they could be

Yes we do Diane and we also save some of the Hollyhock seed to give away or to seed new areas of the garden with Hollyhocks.

I have holly hocks but it’s very bushy is it strange or natural? Never bloomed before I started from seeds in 2019.

No I don't think so Ive not heard them called that before. I think the tree hollyhock is known as Hibiscus in UK and is a shrub

It certainly is but it can be effectively managed by removing the worst affecting leaves. They still flower spectacularly
