Stephen I am broken, your heartfelt tribute for my son, a man you considered a friend, I have no words...I was there when he started his flash work at a very early age on an old computer in our home. He would excitedly show me what he had done, (although I had no clue) He was PASSIONATE about what he was doing. I just wanted to be a part of what he loved to do, so I continued to encourage him. I am absolutely encouraged and continue to be supported by this community he inspired. You are very correct in the astronomical costs associated with dying abroad. We are not wealthy and this is taking a toll financially. But HE deserves to be shown ALL the love we are inspired to show him that we have received these past few days. I laid on the beach with him, holding him and watching the sunset over the ocean as I waited with him for the funeral hearse to pick him up. The most difficult part thus far was getting on the plane and leaving him behind. Robert was my Heart, My Iron man, my Sonic, my Hero. I will do everything within my power to make sure his 2 sons know the type of man he was, a man who inspired such an outpouring of love and respect from an online community during a time where being online is often disheartening. This is absolutely weight crushing news. To both you, me, his family, and the rest of the legions of people he's inspired. I'm content to at least know he's in a better place now. When I was just 10 years old in 2008, your voice acting was so cool and inspirational to me, both you and BlackDevilX have influenced and shaped up my childhood in more ways than one when it comes to my very own creativity or endeavors in dabbling in voice work, and here I am 16 years later at 26 years old still looking back onto it with fond memories. Thank you for everything you have contributed, and thank you to Rob Lewis for the sensational amount of people you've entertained.

I remember playing them over and over, not understanding a single thing yet loving every second of it. Hecc, I'd even act out scenes with my friends during recess. While I'm not in a position to donate myself, I'm hoping the rest of the Sonic community will come through in this time of need. FFSX meant a lot to me growing up as a kid, it really sparked the imagination of myself and a lot of kids during the 2000's.
All of the condolences to you this Christmas. The relationships and memories we share in that period of the internet pre-2010 corporate takeovers is insurmountable for those who know. It wasn’t even a thing I myself picked up initially but I now hear those grunts you provided as a young man in my head for the project you guys made out of a love for Sonic and shonen action. I will be donating, and hope you have the right time to mourn, grief and come to terms with your friend’s passing. I empathise and had to write this since I lost a family friend myself to suicide in March and while I’ve made strides it is still very heavy between me and my siblings. I may not even come across this channel again but all the best wishes to you again, and thank you for the pointers to support his loved ones.
Battle efforts are still some of my favourite things to do as a voice actor, and Rob indulged me when I would want to give more varieties. But he was also a perfectionist and he would make me do them again if they weren't what he wanted 😂 We had really hoped to bring FFSX7 to fruition, and unfortunately I don't know how he would have liked to have ended it so that we could make the conclusion in his honour. But maybe it's better that way 😉

Just losing anyone is always horrible, thats why i can't bear to watch the news, theres to many school shootings! May my man rest knowing he made a huge impact in many peoples childhood, and turned my interest into sonic in the first place.. i've played a mixed share of FFSX & i liked the battle system but questioned the storyplot of how it went between sequels. ..sure this didn't hold a candle to Sonic RPG's series but it *had it's epic moments & it's own cult following once it became famous & Top ppl were playing it* (Myself included as well as YT/Twitch Streamer Omega Snake just to name off a dood) 😐
