Bonbon has really grown on me, I used to think he was just a meat-head bully, but I see his patience, tenderness... Im not sure if he's just got soft after Kenta dying.... But I feel bad for him, especially with all them cougars after him and the poor guy can't do anything about it with his apparent E.D. :( Wish Tama zoo could hook him up with a surgery of somesort..... This is like Game of Thrones.... Bonbon and Chiko are aunt and nephew... but it is endearing to watch. If the zoo still insists on only purifying the family genetics to have only west African chimps, Bonbon, Chiko, Peach, Gin, Cherry, and Peko will not have any or any more offspring. Doubtful for Peko, due to age anyway. It's why Kenta was given a vasectomy when he was in his 20s. However, the zoo wants offspring from those related to Joe. Both BB and Gin are his grandsons thru Lucky but categorized in a hybrid subspecies group with Kenta. And his genetic were undesirable. I hope they don't stick to this way of thinking. I really want to see a little Gin running around some day!

But any with mixed of the three they consider Hybrid. Kenta is Cental/East Hybrid. Peach is Eastern. Peko is Central. The kids and grandkids that belong to these three are all listed as Hybrid. All the other chimps at Tama are Western. I don't like they want a pure line. I'm sad if they stop them from having babies.
Bonbon could learn a few things from Fubuki when it comes to The Ladies... Bonbon is a good Alpha for a variety of reasons... When he gets his mating skills figured out, he will be great... Fubuki is such a runt... Gin and Max were much bigger than him at 4.5 years old... I think Fubuki is so very active, that everything he eats gets burned off in no time... Caramelribbon3...
