I own no rights to this song I just performed in it! Yes I know there are a few mess ups from a select few who think they should overpower everybody else. I believe though that this is the best version on TH-cam! This is for all of those who went to Millikin 2009 Festival. The Pianist was the best pianist ever, she could play the piano backwards and improvised a lot of the song!

Excellent rendition! I sang this song with a children's choir I was involved in years ago and it is still one of my absolute favorites!

it gets me when people complain that people in choir "over-power, the truth of the matter is that more than likely the rest of the choir is UNDER powering them.That person should not stop singing out (unless they don't pay attention to dynamics) Once you get to a higher level choir you realize that if you are not able to project at a great volume, you are just bringing down the rest of the choir, and a collegiate college director will tell the rest of the choir to come up to that person's level.
Cut us some slack :p we had like two days to get it down as well as we did. So much fun!

Probably, but we only practiced it 2 days and after the 2nd day we had a concert.
@MrCoondog91 "Cut us some slack?" I was in this so, I understand it was only 2 days. I wasn't hard on the group just some individuals that were a little over the top... which happens no matter what.
Lovely performance. Your dynamics are pretty present, but they could be bigger. Blending more would be good, even though it's already pretty good. Your cut off's could be better in some places too. But I'm being super picky. Nice video.
Can someone please tell me which other songs we performed here? I can't remember!!!
+destinyandpeace wow, I can't believe someone is still watching thing video. I honestly cannot remember what else we did that year either. :/ I just remember that the pianist was amazing! oh, wait 500 miles was one. That's all I got.
+Caleb Pecue I'm still singing in a choir back home, and this song came to my mind, so I tried googling to see what else we did and that's how I ended up on this video! I remember that we did a piece from Mozart, but that's about it.
