When I opened account with HDFC securities, the advisor from bank was trying to make me buy a penny stock saying she is giving demo and stocks are just 5 per stock. This too could be manipulation if it's done on large scale
Don't trust them.They are cruel scoundrels.
If you bough penny stock which is stable and not rising or falling,she is just giving you real world practical of share stocks.

Prasad Bhai, I want to bring my story to your attention. I started my investing journey in 2020, my brother recommended me two penny stocks. GTL Infra and Ratan Power (which he got from a day trader). I had been watching stock market videos which cautioned about penny stocks but Greed got to me. I bought my first initital (yes my first) shares in these two. I put ~2000 INR of hard earned salary into these. I know amount is not huge but again, many small investor like me got cheated. (P.S. I have not done analysis of these. Just by their stock value, I'm assuming that this was pump and dump).
