    Thank you mam its very useful in practical life . If you upload a small residential building load calculation from top to bottom means from slab to foundation then it will be very helpfull plz.....thanks again

    Thanks Mam. It’s very useful. Appreciated if you post any video abt punching shear reinforcement in post tension slab with shear reinforcement.

    Why we devided the shorter side of the slab by 2 and multiply with the load of the slab,
    I didn't get the points here if you don't mind please elaborate this step and clear my concept.... Thank you 😊

    sorry for the confusion, does W and w interchangeable?

    • @CivilEngineeringMastery
      @CivilEngineeringMastery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, not interchangeable.
      W - load acting on the beam(kN/m)
      w - load acting on slab(kN/m^2)

    Is it possible that the slab is square?

    • @CivilEngineeringMastery
      @CivilEngineeringMastery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For square slab triangular load distribution on all four sides.

    Wants some clarification, isn't it one way slab carried by longer span? As it is carried by ly mostly which is known as longer span.

    • @CivilEngineeringMastery
      @CivilEngineeringMastery  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      In one way slab load is carried by the shorter span only and the main reinforcement is also provided in the same direction.

    for unit of kN.. you should write N in big alphabet as it is on the name of Newton. and k should be small . keep this in mind during writing of units
