- Elena demonstrates how to drape the dress with radiating pleats.
The design was executed based on the photograph, provided by her friend.
Pleats radiate from the waistline area on the front. Elena uses twisting technique and demonstrate how to accomplish the front piece.

@@nive432 the length about 125cm, width - 75-80cm. My dress form is S size, you should add a bit more for bigger sizes

Any suggestions where one could order one of these? I live in Greece and the only ones available here are the expandable version (the ones with the ability to be used for all different sizes). I use pinnable Chinese dress form. I suggest to look at alibaba.com or aliexpress.com. Search for "tailor dress form" I think it is still possible to order a single piece with price around 100$

Would you just sew the top to the skirt?
yes, the top is attached to the skirt, however you may consider to modify the design and create cut outs on the sides
