@@freefrankgable it was actually a sailing of travel agents and was at about 60% capacity of the ship. We filmed the day the ship was in Coco Cay so there were not so many people onboard.

Wonder why or who decided it was a good idea to have the crowds have to walk through the sports bar to get to or leave the skating rink. Can’t imagine a few hundred people leaving the rink and the bars is crowded.

As I understand it is still video from your preinagural sailing.The most interesting thing for me to see how crowdy is Icon when there is maximum capacity with real inaugural sailing.My impression Icon class will be more overcrowded that Oasis class.Also, those very small pool areas here and there will be total disaster during sea days.Promenade is wide but still not much places to seat mostly to walk and Balleros and Sorretos as seating spots.Huge waste of space with Pearl area.Instead of doing additional atrium with small stage for music and performance with seating area just waste of space to wow people with usless Pearl.As you said alot of plugs in Pearl Caffe but caffe itself very limited for 7600 people when it is full capacity.I don't buy this hype about Icon of the Sea and unparalleled advertisement compane.Ship is 9-10% bigger than Oasis class ships but 13-15% more people
Yes this was recorded on the pre-inaugural but we are on the first official sailing and it doesn’t feel much different. It is a sea day and we have had no issues getting a lounge chair which says a lot!!
Some of the play gadgets belong on land not on a cruise ship - passengers won’t want to go to any excursions or get off the ship when the ship is in port -
There's already a lady on the ship who's got a cold or something and wearing a mask. Just seen their live vlog. She's not staying in her cabin I hope she's not spreading the germs all over the ship
I'll admit - I hate that I like it. It's too big, and it'll end up in the most generic ports as a result. But I feel like I owe it to myself, my wife, and my kids to just see how they react to a vacation on a ship like this.
@@EECCTravels I for one would love to see it go to the southern caribbean (Curacao and Aruba), but only one can dream! The quantum class makes it there, but they're much smaller ships by comparison. There is just so much stuff to enjoy on this ship. And my wife and I are big kids with waterslides - we'd be on those all day.
It must have been nice to be on the ship without it being at full or maximum capacity. For me it’s a definite pass but I’m sure people who like large ships and lots of people will enjoy it. It looks like a shopping mall at sea.

But each set of elevators has 10-12 and they are huge. It is actually working very well with little to no wait.

We are on the ship and I LOVE my surf side family cabin. It large and has a room with TV’s and bunk beds. The cabin sleeps 6.

I've never done Oasis class cause I thought it was too big but Icon looks amazing!!

There were about 4500 guests for the pre-inaugural. We are also on the first official sailing and it doesn’t feel much different with more guests.

We plan on getting off in all three ports this cruise. We had boarding plus two seas days before the first port so we were ready.

Is it just me or does the interior already looks outdated?
I like it. There are some bright colors but it’s not tacky like some of the older ships.

We are going to St Kitts and St Thomas (plus Coco Cay) so it goes to goo ports. We are really enjoying the ship!
