Looks? Who cares how she looks? She just broke my heart a little, again...just like every single time I have ever heard this song. Subjective I know, but this moves me, more consistently than anything else I have ever heard. Every. Single. Time. This is the essence of music, of communication, emotion....a perfect form. I'm amazed. Again.
@@mv848 that was my point- someone talking about her looks, what has that got to do with it? I'm just grateful for the existence of artists of her calibre.
I still get tears in my eyes when I listen to this song. I used to live near DC, lots of imagery in there that brings back a lot of memories. Such a beautiful song!
this is gorgeous, most natural ive seen her in a recorded vid in a long time, and of course she sounds perfect as always. gold dust has long been a personal favorite of mine so this video made my day.
As a gay man she looks SICK. She's not 20 anymore lolz. She looks delicious, sexy, and pretty young. What weight gain? The cameras added 10lbs? Please Bitch (respectfully) looks hot and most importantly STILL SOUNDS FLAWLESS AND EMOTIONAL. I love your misery Tori. Give me more.
I prefer the original version. TORI sounds allot more connected to the original version energy and emotionally wise. Just how I feel! It would of been cool to have her in the same room as the orchestra. That would be more connected for me too, but she does have a pretty voice. I am just more drawn to the original version and the original video. 😊✌️🖖🤘🙏🏽
It seems to me this performance has her singing and playing her piano in a separate session (and location) than the orchestra. At lease that's how it looks from the filming style. Can anyone confirm this, or is she in fact playing live with the orchestra and conductor. That's being said I like this version, and I like how she reinvents her older music with new and interesting arrangements. Keep on rocking!
Words fail me in trying to put across just how beautiful this is. You'll just have to figure it out for yourselves. Sorry! But, i have the utmost faith in you all, so i know you'll get it... Lol! \m/ (:o)
I got excited thinking this was a solo live-in-studio version.... but no, another lip-synced promo clip. The original Scarlet's Walk version is better too. Oh well....

Superbly conveyed... \m/ (:o)
She made it into the top 100 most beautiful people in the world a while ago... ...
Why would you bring up her looks??

Absolutely gorgeous song. An emotional rollercoaster every time. Bravo!
For me this is her best song. Touches all in me.

this song reminds me of Danny Lutz from the documentary of my Amity horror story and my story as well.

Why do you want to compare?
She's nearly 50 years old. Cut her some slack. Besides, I thought we were here for the music, not to talk body size.

I don´t think this is lip-synced, it has backing vocals, that is.
It's a song about her daughter -- at least in part, I think. :?)
Being 50 years old doesn't mean one has to look fat. And viewing a youtube video doesn't mean I have to post only flattering comments.
