Thank you mate. It feel nice that people appreaciate my melodies. 🤜 I would love to hear someone playing one of them on tagelharpa or swedish bagpipe sometime. :) Once I feel like I have time for it I will try to make clean studio recordings from as many melodies as possible. Skål!

I love your sound, it gives power, i receive my first Tagelharpa in some weeks, i m so curious how it is to play this instrument and i know i have to learn then.

Hi mate! Thank you so much! Getting the "right" sound is all about how you handle the bow. How much preasure you have while bowing, the angle of the bow towards the strings and how fast or slow you draw it up and down. When you do it right you can get amazing sound out of any tagelharpa. I have quite a lot preasure on my bow when I play mainly becasue I like the sound it gets then. And it is horse hair (tagel) strings, and with them you have to be... sturdy but not rough, and clear. With syntetic strings, like viola strings and nylon you should probably be softer and more cautious. I hope you get the hang on it. just make sure to tune it properly before you practice the bowing. I wish you the best, do not give up! Cheers mate!!

@@bondmen Yor welcome mate. One of the main reasons why I put my melodies out here is to encourage and inspire people to play this wonderful instrument. I hope that you will enyoj it.

Hey there this is awesome! May I play it on the upcoming episode of my podcast with a Swedish hunter? I like to add music to enhance the mood. I will of course give you credit. I am currently doing a series with Scandinavian guests on various topics such as folklore, blacksmithing, hunting, archeology and folk music. The podcast is called Our Numinous Nature. Thank you!

Excellent mastery of a musical instrument! What tuning do you use? And strings. Is it woven nylon?

Hey man. Thank you. I use from top, ADAD tuning in this. D at the bottom one octave lower than the other one. I only play on traditional tagel(horse hair). Its twinned.
