Good! This is the exact recipe we used while growing up. I don't understand people adding water or making caramel first. Coconut has water. Adding sugar to it will caramelise it. Well done.
thanks for this, this tip about cooking or making coconut chips should be shared and be watched by people like me, or people from the fareast who has got lots of coconut tress. you have a very good idea as well for extra income
Thanks for helping me save some money on brown sugar ...I normally add brown sugar so that the white sugar on coconut won't caramelize. I'll be using this your technique. Nice one 👌
I made my coconut flakes on Saturday and I got it right thanks Ma'am the taste was so nice and my clients loved it I used it for my cake toppings 😋😋😋wish I can send the picture here.. thank you so much ma'am
It depends on the amount of coconut, for instance, two tablespoon of sugar will go for one large coconut. You don't need too much sugar. When you add, taste to know if the sugar has incorporated well. That's it.
Never tried using the oven before so it doesn't burn , probably u cld use a baking tray and constantly check it or better still , u cld use an air fryer.♥️
