I always wonder why these people left early like Jaikishan at 39, Shankar at 64, Guru Dutt at 39, Composer Vinod at 39, Raj Kapoor at 64, Nargis at 50, Madan Mohan at 51 and Shailendra at 42. There is a pattern. Such magnificent creators leave where as corrupt thieves and dacoits enjoy long comfortable lives.
i agree. I am 45 , madan mohan 51 - doesnt make any sense to me either ha ha. Well, most started drinking and fell due to liver problems. Now the reason why they would resort to this is simple - sensitive, as most of the creative people are, they could not handle this twisted world. Jaikishan of SJ duo also died in his 40-s due to same issue - depriving us of more compositions. Other creative folks that didn't fall for this deadly habit survived but they are in a minority - manna dey , naushad comes to mind.
