I seen this with myself. I never seen so many black people living high up in numbers until I came to Atlanta. Plus I said this, why will so many come to Atlanta call themselves starting a new life, but bring all of their problems to a new situation / new city. The people who are born and raised in Atlanta 30+ years are cool people. A lot of them might be your relatives and never met them before.

I grew up in Washington D.C. black people had businesses and big houses in the 60s and 70s. Black people would come here for business and never leave. They would stay and lay roots here for future generations. D.C. has black families with generations of wealth. When he said how he looked because he's always seen black people with money I totally understand. We had black doctors, lawyers, teachers everything you could think of in D.C.. I was never rich but all my grandparents were homeowners and had good paying jobs. My doctor was black, my dentist was black, all my teachers were black, people in my neighborhood owned businesses that were walking distance from our house's like the bike shop. The family that owned the corner store were black and they lived upstairs like people pay to do now. The two store employees both lived in the neighbourhood. So even though I wasn't rich I knew black people could do anything they wanted to. Then crack came and destroyed a couple generations of black people and now white people have taken the city. I remember freaknic in Atlanta it was dirty as hell then they built the city up real nice. Now Atlanta is taking a nosedive in the wrong direction just like D.C. did.

No slander toward us 9-5ers lol. We all got one boss and it's the money! But overall y'all definitely right about ATL. It's still a beautiful city and it's lovely seeing black people shine.

Man stop…it ain’t the outta towners out here knocking shit down. Trust and believe. It’s Atlanta natives. Or at least been here since they were kids. Stop tryna put all the violence on folks from outta town. Ain’t no outta town dudes feeling themselves enough to be out here doing what they want in these streets.
