Not everyone is gonna list the same 20 players so guys who aren't on one ballot will be on another and so forth. They tally up the points in a 1-100 list and that's the top 100.

When you compare NBA players to NFL players, it’s because NBA players affect the floor in a different or totally different way. Football is much more of a team Sports, as great as Mahomes is, a bad bounce here and there or the defense not coming through some of those superbowls may not be in his bag. Lebron can go score a basket, go back on D to rebound and block a shot, in football you’re much more dependent on others. So to it makes sense a 5 vs 5 sports to have an earlier/easier annointment than in a 11 vs 11 ( really 33/33 given the three phases)

The chargers will definitely get better with harbaugh, but they have a huge roster rebuilding process right now, have very little star power, no depth or solidity to their roster. due to the last team they tried to build and had to abandon, they have almost 20 percent of their cap going to players that got traded or left! They have a big roster problem, not to mention Herbert's foot will effect him all season (wether he plays thru pain and is hindered or aggravates it and cant play entirely, who knows) the chargers need players before harbaugh gets judged for not leading them to the playoffs in year 1

When you compare NBA players to NFL players, it’s because NBA players affect the floor in a different or totally different way. Football is much more of a team Sports, as great as Mahomes is, a bad bounce here and there or the defense not coming through some of those superbowls may not be in his bag. Lebron can go score a basket, go back on D to rebound and block a shot, in football you’re much more dependent on others. So to it makes sense a 5 vs 5 sports to have an earlier/easier annointment than in a 11 vs 11 ( really 33/33 given the three phases)
