After beating Brighton 3-1 Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has relieved some of the pressure on him and his side. Now 7th in the Premier League, the club still sit well below fans expectations but after flirting with the relegation zone a few games back, seem to be on an upward curve. Solskjaer and the club have put their faith in youth, fielding the youngest average aged starting lineup in the Premier League this season in the 3-1 win over Brighton. Youngsters like Daniel James and Brandon Williams have stepped up, whilst there is added responsibility on more ’senior’ youngsters like Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford.
Rashford scored his 13th Premier League goal since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as manager in the win over Brighton and will want to kick on from here, the return of Anthony Martial to the side as no.9 has freed Rashford to return to a wide forward position, cutting in from the left and he would seem to have benefitted in recent appearances.
