Man, I can’t believe its coming up on 5 years since Roy fell. I remember watching all the videos I could find regarding Cam and Roy including the tribute video. Awesome times to look back on.
Damn awesome what this guy does and is about. My buddy in Oregon is from the island of Fiji and managed to get similar genetics. Everyday knocking out 10-20 miles in the hills of Medford. Thanks to this man I’m seriously considering learning the bow
Nobody should give Andy a hard time. He is a real hunter unlike some of his friends. Reason is, he not only went out on his own but he actually took a deer! Nothing but respect!
When John Shaw moved to Sun Valley, Idaho in 1996 or 97, he shot an elk with a bow his first year out. He said “What’s the big whup” I owned an insurance agency in Ketchum and put my kids through college on what I made insuring his gun collection. Andy, do you keep in touch with him? He owns a hunt club in Hagerman, Idaho now. I believe his son Cody runs his Idaho shooting school. He’d be an excellent guest on your podcast.
For me personally i feel the Hardest part of public land Elk hunting is locating and finding Elk. I dont hunt ranches or with a guide but id imagine in thosr scenerios finding Elk wouldnt be too difficult. But man i have sometimes hiked 65 miles before finding Elk and sometimes not at all
two awesome guys just shootin' the breeze.... it almost seemed odd that they didn't have beers in their hands, and several empties allover the table....
Cowboy got way more than $200,000 for the Conor fight... that’s just his base pay. That doesn’t include money from PPV points, sponsorship money, or any other bonuses. The UFC never makes that public. According to some ppl Cowboy realistically took home somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-10 million and Conor around 30-40 million
I live in Alberta, just a skip away from the foothills (prior to the rockies) and I have worked lots outside of Panther Valley AB (west of Sundre) and I've STILL NOT GONE HUNTING. We've got so many bears up here. Infact, in my town, we have moose and deer walk through all day. I wish we could just drop em and throw them in the freezer.
Yaa he has a full time job working for the city for 25 year and has never missed a day of work still runs 20 miles a day and works out and shoots bow and never skips a day🤯🤯
Perhaps not a perfect room for a 7' blind guy, he could walk his eyes into one of those antlers, but, then again, they prbl have a contingency for that sit too 😊
Rockies go down with 270-(heavy 150-160gr good SD and weight retention bullet), 30-06 works 180gr and above, 7 mag is nice but not needed. Roosevelts 300winmag is essential, maybe 7 mag but thats pushing your luck!
I'm surprised that you were allowed into BUDS at such a young age. I would have thought that the Navy would have made the minimum age requirement to become a SEAL like 22 at least. I know that 18 / 19 year olds were more mature 20+ years ago than in the current day but I feel like most people that young lack life experience and maturity, especially when being put in a role of such importance.
Its impossible to find any hunting channels or social media profiles that dont just pay to hunt private land lol... Id imagine it's a lot more fun to pay 10K for a private monstrous bull.
I'm gonna try this again without profanity because youtube just deleted my first response. Conor posted a pic of Khabib's wife from their wedding in a full burqa and said "your wife is a towel". He mocked Khabib for not drinking alcohol. He accused Khabib's dad (who he loves deeply) of being a terrorist. There's more I'm forgetting no doubt. That's just off the top of my head. Anyone who paid attention knows all of this. You sir are a C.....U......N.......T. I think you should go have intercourse with yourself and ingest a bag of richards.
@@MakerInMotion what does that make you then, the person verbally assaulting someone you've never met, over a stupid TH-cam comment. Relax buddy. Relax.
@@T_D_B_ You're right. I just get pissed when people confidently say something completely wrong. "It didn't happen". Yes it did and its well known by everyone.
MakerInMotion Get over it... none of the shit you just listed off is as bad as the media and all the Khabib fans made it out to seem. If that’s all you got then I think it’s fair to say it was blown way out of proportion. As far as I’m concerned I never heard anything from Conor that was truly surprising or racist. Ppl just wanna complain about everything
@@BostonsF1nest Conor did pay for everything he said too. I think he'll be more respectful if they ever rematch. His hype train is almost out of track.
I felt like this episode went from Andy interviewing Cam, to Cam interviewing Andy mid way through. Enjoyed the conversation.
Cam is such a genuine human. The world could use a few more.

One of the great Podcasts Andy
- I am a 🇨🇦veteran, avid bow Hunter and learned to play bagpipes. Don’t choke me out. Well done, these two are studs👊
Try out, if the bagpipe might attract the attention of the deers, bears, aso, it just might be the greatest - or not 🤭🤔
I've become a huge fan of both of you guys...Thanks Andy for doing this podcast!!
Man, I can’t believe its coming up on 5 years since Roy fell. I remember watching all the videos I could find regarding Cam and Roy including the tribute video. Awesome times to look back on.

Would love to see the video from the Utah hunt. This is like 4 different podcast now that have referenced it!

Has there ever been a podcast with so many commercials? I won’t ever use this lemonade product just out of principle now
And I hope whoever puts up these peloton ads realizes what he’s done

Yea... yea..... right..... yea yea..... right
Whats Cameron running shoe
jeremiah Escobedo under armour. Probably a model that isn’t released yet. But they look like phantoms.
Hoka
😎 Cam burnout on legs 🤭
Yeah, yea, right
That sheep country is very rough, I live in AK, Know exactly what he's talking about
Does Cam have a regular day job? Lol does anyone know what he does? I thought he was just a professional hunter and brand ambassador for UA
Yaa he has a full time job working for the city for 25 year and has never missed a day of work still runs 20 miles a day and works out and shoots bow and never skips a day🤯🤯
Yeah he’s a buyer for the power company. A marathon a day, has a great family life. Very cool guy.
Michael Briand How much does he make
The Kids Nice probs around 70K with the day job and I have no idea how much for all this sponsorships
Perhaps not a perfect room for a 7' blind guy, he could walk his eyes into one of those antlers, but, then again, they prbl have a contingency for that sit too 😊
If Cameron Hanes was anymore laid back he’d be asleep. Seems like a really nice guy 👍🏻
That's what happens when you run a marathon a day.
Take a shot every time can says yeah
Such a damn good podcast! Appreciate the fuck out of you both!
So, "...Goggins" made me thing of Walton. Dude's been on a seal show, made sense. Just found David...and I have corrected course.
Check out Sinclair Imagery he had awesome pictures of lions besides other wildlife.

The guy on the right has some amazing legs

High country mule deer definitely not the most awesome first archery hunt! Hopefully this year goes better.
Andy you're the fuckin man
Cam's legs 👀
😎 Wha? 🤭
Yall are to cool,fuck I'm a nerd
You know what this room is missing, deer heads

Show me one quote in which Connor explicitly makes derogatorily remarks towards Khabib's religion before the fight? It didn't happen.

The short politics segment: Politics is pretty simple to decipher, either you're for the Constitutional Rights of the People or you're not.
Until you have a reasonable debate about what's right in a given context and what isn't and realize the world isn't black and white...
Love this, thank you 🙏🏽 for this!
