Love this series! First time viewer, I love these budget challenges! I was a big fan of revzcards challenge "Playing yu gi oh properly", and this just scratches the itch. Keep it going, I will be watching with great interest in which direction you want to go with this deck :)
Thank you! I have a few different paths i want to take it, but they all are pretty dependent on prices of cards! At the moment, it might not be possible to pickup enough wanteds for a sinful spoils variant, but, we'll see what happens down the line!

One of those other creators is Revzcards, he calls it "Playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Properly", it's really awesome and I recommend checking it out in addition to this series! (His series starts off with the Red Dragon Archfiend structure deck)

Hey thanks for having me on your video Matt. Glad the deck is producing good results. Ngl, i only knew a tiny bit of the fire kings archetype. However, I did have suspicion that the deck also runs on graveyard effects, which is why I followed my intuition and xyz summoned into abyss dweller. Game 2 was such a grind fest. Really cool concept, please make a series with the crimson king structure deck too, I want to see how much I can/should upgrade the deck I just picked up.
@@MattOsheaYGO please do! It's packing a lot more than it seems at first sight. I'm just picking up the better and cheaper handtraps and staples for now, but I know Dis Pater is necessary to make it far, maybe even a bystial package. Or Horus, but at that point it's another deck. Also you can calamity FTK with the structure deck only.
Pretty excited for this. I am thinking about doing the same thing, however the cost of the wanted engine + the new snake eyes monster in PHNI prpbably beinh expensive too is worrying me a bit
its an option if you dont plan on using the extra deck, but with the reprints to pot of prosperity, i HIGHLY recommend playing that instead of extravangance
@@MattOsheaYGO So far i haven't build an extra deck but besides the fire king xyz, everything else does not seem mandatory so I think for the small budget I have it could be nice. However I also own 1 prosperity.

I'm glad newer structure decks are a bit more powerful to compete at locals, at least some of them are.

yeah it worries me too, but i think while it will be the best way to play Fire Kings it wont be the only way to play it

I think its a great alternative to sinful spoils if you cant play that or to the nadir servant package as well
Sucks I can’t do this challenge since the FK Structure Deck is sold out everywhere…
And we need the SP Knight for the deck to be playable…
