The previous generations saw their heroes assassinated fighting the machine where I feel my generation's heroes took their own lives or where overcome by their addictions. Perhaps from the overwhelming powerlessness over the realization of how powerful that machine has become.
I've always wished they played lithium at unplugged because it just sounds like it would fit the unplugged sound and although Kurt probably wouldn't be aggressive on vocals like this but this is still fantastic for what you have to work with!

Thanks a lot! I basically took kurt's vocals from the Live and Loud show. I then recorded the guitars and I tried to match the tone from the ones used in the Unplugged show. Then I programmed bass, drums and cello, added reverb, mixed the whole thing and here it is :)
I would have used Kurt's vocal from the alternate version of the Lithium mix from the Nevermind sessions, not the well known "mix 6" but another that surfaced more recently. It had an acoustic intro at that time and might fit better though this was still pretty awesome, watch your tempo though, you got a little carried away in the chorus but so did Dave Grohl. It was the only song he was asked to use a metronome on because he kept going too fast in the chorus lol. Nice work though!

Yeah there are bits I had to re-record because they were inaccurate/out of tempo, so I'll reupload the corrected/remixed version by the end of July, with a few other nirvana songs
