This is my favorite of his. I like the album version with the violin as well. But this one is just classic beauty. There's a phrase - "The good, the true, and the beautiful." This song is really a reflection of all those things.

Andy comes from Topeka KS, me im in Wichita KS, 15 minutes away from where i live was a Theme Park named Joyland that was unfortunately closed down 10 years ago, and now lays there in ruin. Andy is playing with the same carnival beat as the joyland I know, and really taking me back. Joyland is HIGHLY missed here in Wichita .
I hope you can still watch it in a hundred years time my friend. I may not, but I'm not worried. There's nothing else than music when we're gone. Live long and prosper!

The artwork in the background in the beginning is of the Wacky Shack and Ferris wheel of one of my favorite amusement parks in Wichita called Joyland. Too cool! They are currently restoring the park and will hopefully have it open soon.

I just love the way that by adding just a small port hole on the top side of the upper bout on his custom built Greenfield Baritone makes it sound so much more spacious. I am having a local luthier here in Portland add one to my Guild cv-2. Since all of the woods are the same as this model G4 and mine, even though the guild is a shorter scale, I am hoping to get some of the same resonance. Of course my talent as a fingerstylist pale in comparison, the sound should still get close.

Cody Chavez Seriously, like he's there during the day when the place seems pretty much lifeless, but then during the bridge, the lights turn on, machines and rides start creaking to life, the spirit of the park returns for just one more night.

On a standard guitar, the tuning is DADEAC# . SuperKnapkin is right, the tuning on a baritone is AEABEG#.
