@@Richard_hnkigf hi! So the short answer is no! I was so thankful that is was essentially painless. With the exception of my infected side. That part of my incision was not totally painless. It was tolerable. But if you’re healing fine I think you’re going to do great. ☺️
Can you show how to suture the triple laceration you have on the practice pad. As i understand the tri-edged bayonet was a huge threat in WW2 because of the difficulty of closure. I'd really appreciate your instruction on this. Thank you.
@@minimedlessons stapling will be good to know and easy to do but it will be helpful if you make a comprehensive video on when to use skin stapling, wound preparations like irrigation for skin stapling, wound irrigation, etc. Yeah, I'm putting pressure on you. I'll subscribe to your channel once you do. 😂✌✌
If you're using a stapler it had better be because it's an emergency situation. Otherwise it is just leaving a worse scar because you were too lazy to suture
Thank you for watching this! Now you're ready for the video about how to remove them - th-cam.com/video/OatwWz1k2s8/w-d-xo.html - Check it out!
Is local anesthesia used to Remove staples??
anyway im scared its too many of them
Another advantage mentioned for staples is a lower rate of infection compared to sutures.
Thank you! I had 47 of these in my head last year.
I hope your okay now.
@@stijn2472 thank you! Recovering nicely from radiation still but I’m healing quite remarkably. 💜 brain tumors suck.
@@danica9237 are you fine now which is your country? Hope r u fine

As a patient who’s had both staples and stitches, gotta say, much prefer staples
When using the smaller style stapler, I find it easier to hold it with the jaws facing me instead of away like he is doing.

thanks in advance and great video as always😊

Your videos are so helpful
Thank you!
I’m planning on making a game where you can use a staple gun for a weapon, useful for healing animations!
Is it best to start in the middle like you did?
I would guess so. Takes the pressure out of the laceration.
Thank you for that video.
Do you have a video on glueing deeper cuts? Can't find it with a simple search on your channel
How i take the off the skin and when should i...
Not sure if I missed it... but does using a Skin Stapler require the use of local anesthesia? Ie. lidocaine
Its just like taking a vaccine shot
Usually if your needing to staple a wound the little staple is the least of the pain.
Gotta keep the blood in the body that is very important!
What type of staples are these that are going into the skin
We used staples a lot in veterinary medicine, unless we had a particularly vain poodle.
Excellent
Great video! Where could someone pick up the learning aid you are using for this Staple demo?
You can find tons of them on amazon
Thank you for this beautiful video
Can I get this in online?
If yes please give me link
Thanks for commenting! Are you asking about the practice skin pad or the staplers?
Yes you can, on amazon
I associate staples with vertebra fusing surgeries but only because of two friends surgeries.
Is local anesthesia used to remove staples?
no, and I don't use it for placing them either
Good way and faster but I think it's difficult in heart or enter organ
Yes, staples are not generally used on internal organs. Thanks for watching!
Lol why would these stalpers be used on internal organs
K.D. 😅that's my thinking
I’ve found that superglue works great with little scarring
superglue is bad for your skin though but if it’s skin glue then nevermind
🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Martian brought me here
After my surgery I have just over 125 staples inside and outside of me
What type of surgery was that
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I came here because escape from tarkov

I look at it that scars are just battle wounds in life
Oh, wow!!! You can use basic logic and reason! Another video? Whoa! So... What I did as a 12 year old with a pocket knife 20 years ago?
