- Thanks so much for joining me today as I share two stress-free ways you can decorate your Scripture Writings. Easy frames and beautiful stickers take the anxiety out of artwork, yet they still accomplish the goal of giving us more time with God's Word.

When you go to be with the Lord, and you pass your scripture writing on to someone, they will love just having your handwriting. The art is just a bonus.
Something else I found- when I’m waiting to fall asleep and I want to remember my verse of the day, if I can remember what I drew on the page at least part of the verse will come back in my mind. So it’s been a good way for me to meditate on scripture, for which I am very thankful.

Thank you for sharing these tips. I started my journey with you on August 1st and havent missed a day. I am mindful of what you said in earler videos that its not about the art, its about the time you are spending in the scripture and with God. Since im also a musician, I also include at the bottom of each page a hymn that the Holy Spirit places in my ear ... I'm remembering songs i havent played in 20 years. What blessing!!!!

Your pages are beautiful! ❤ I like to do many arty things, paint, draw, etc, but my deepest joy is encouraging people who don’t think they can do art. I had another idea to share as I was watching. If you have scrapbook papers sitting in your closet (like mine), pick out some solid colors or pretty designs, cut thin strips and use them as a border by gluing them on. Old wrapping papers would work or even construction paper. Magazine pages would be great borders or cut out the pictures. Tearing the paper would give an interesting edge. Or if you did scrapbooking and had those special scissors that cut little designs, use those. I have several very small notes my sons wrote to me when they were little. I think I’ll get those out of hiding and use them to decorate scripture too. ❤
Hi Kimberly! Those are great suggestions. I have also used pretty washi tape to add creativity to the page, so that's another option! ♥️

WOW your angel stickers is Stunning. Norman Vincent Peale said negative thoughts multiply negative thoughts so this should propel us to study scripture because there are so many cheerful scriptures, Cast your care on Him for he cares for you.
He isn't Christian.
He was a Protestant teacher. He knew that words coming out of our mouths can be life or death. He always looked to the positive. Yes, there is a fine line between thinking positive to get rich or positives for encouragement, have to know what your motivation is.
@@ehealthshop Dr. Peale started preaching when people were coming out of the War and they were scared, so basically he was saying, Have Faith in GOD, and I am sure he is in Heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What he means by negative thoughts is COMPLAINING as the Israelites died in the desert because of their ungratefulness.

Sherry I love you and I love this video! You make things possible even for people like me. I am still struggling to recover from effects of a stroke and relearning how to write, how to read how to hold and use my colouring pencil..... I drop things so often that our lovely springer spaniel stays very close to me ready to catch or pick them up and gently return them to my hands. Another cheap and easy way to decorate your pages is cut and paste. A glue stick at dollar tree, a scissors, and old catalogs, magazines, calendars and so forth have many beautiful items you can cut and paste.

I love your creativity with God's Word! Thank you! It just seems these beautiful scriptures and artwork should be written on something other than notebook paper. Many are frame-worthy!! I realize that notebook paper is easily available and economical, however, if anyone wants to leave their scripture writing as a legacy to family, they should use acid free and lignin free papers that will not turn yellow or become crisp, like old newspapers. Scripture writing reminds me of my Mom's and Grandma's recipes which I treasure! Blessings to you! ❤

So I love your ideas so as not to feel insecure. Engaging with the Scripture-that is so good for me and so thankful you mentioned that. I can lose this most important part of Scripture writing when I am stressed about how to make it perfect. Love the verses in Psalm 119:96-97!

I do enjoy drawing though I am not very good. I still try. Tracing makes it much easier. But the Scripture is the focus.

I'm just starting to get into scrapbooking and junk journals and you tubers say to get cards at the dollar tree (they are $1.00 and $.0.50) to use . So you could get a pretty card and cut out the image and glue it on or use double sided tape. Another idea is use stamps with ink pads. I've found myself in that situation because I don't want two pages to be a like yet , so now I have some new ideas and I'll use my scrapbook items and stamps, stickers.

I really like the idea of creating a border and decorating or embellishing with pens or stickers. I just received two sticker books from Amazon to use in my Prayerful Planner. I know there will be plenty to share for my scripture writing.

Print Shop. I was in the 7th grade, everyone was really savvy with a printer, a computer and print shop, making greeting cards! Maybe get the women to do that in a Women's Retreat!! Or catch on fire for God in your heart, your heads and use those hands for service for, him.
I'm 45 years old, todays my birthday, 45 years young, and I just love bringing in my Thanksgiving Early for Harvest Season ! Everyday, I am thankful for God, for he is my heavenly creator. I take my time on prayer for his guidance. I am his soldier. His army of just one of many! I love children. Children have great artistic talents and like now, I am on fire for STRENGTH TRAINING!!! Training children IN STRENGTH IS MIRACULOUS EVENT. So Praying for STRENGTH is necessary! I pray for Strength for my neighbors, My pastor, my mechanic, my babysitter, my bus driver, my mailman 🎉!!! *Pray! **Pray!! ***Pray!!!
Strengthen us God. Strengthen our children. The children had fun. We all had a greatful summer season. VBS is getting better every year. There are more coming to God, and slowly entering the congregation 🙏 Praise God for these kids. I GIVE THANKS to Him for allowing me to see them grow.

I have been told, and it is unfortunately true, that my handwriting is horrible. But, I don't think God really cares, so instead of always printing off the scripture, I feel convicted, in a good way, to write or print out by hand, my verses.😊

Where do you get the scriptures you write? Do you use lists that are available online?
Yes! I typically use guides that I find online.
Do you write out the entire list of verses daily or pick one of many? I am going to begin today and printed off the list of 30 promises and have yet to get my Bible open to look at the length of each day’s verses. Hope I can accomplish this endeavor.
Hi Barbara! On Day One, we write out those verses on September 1. On September 2, we write out the verse or verses for Day Two, etc.

What type of paper is it that you use
Hi Valerie! I use notebook paper. And the reason I do is because I always want to remember that my work is about the writing out of Scripture, more than anything else. ♥️

I most often use the NLT, but I also use the KJV, the NKJV, and the NIV.
