Kanji is like years and years old my mom makes it every month in summers you can only get it in summers. It's not beetroot juice. It's made from black carrot and black mustard seeds which are used to make achaar. It actually takes 7 days to get it done. Put alot of water black carrot, black mustard seeds with some tatri powder(lemon salt), salt and black pepper in a matka (clay pot) and u leave that matka sealed covered in sunlight for 7 days and water becomes kanji and black carrots becomes pickled
Ma jab bhi Dubai jata hun to Indian food zaror khata hun it's like that Pakistani log indian food pasand karte han or India k log Pakistani food ko pasand karte han. Love and respect from Pakistan.
Yes you do have a "Lahori Gate" in old Delhi. Delhi and Lahore used to be sister cities. The people going from Delhi to Lahore used to enter from the "Delhi Gate" of Lahore while the people going from Lahore to Delhi used to enter from "Lahori Gate".

Awesome video, beetroot (chuqandar)in Urdu. And making this drink is called Kaanji , this made by a very special technique of dipping black chuqandar (sometime mooli too) in red chilli powder and left to soak for about weeks in a matka , in bit warm place. It's excellent for sunstroke/loo. And usual summer drink in Punjab, in rest of Pakistan, summer drinks are different, like imli +aalo bukhara sharbat is widespread in all Pakistan.😃 keep in touch so you guys leran more about Pakistan💞
