keep ripping at it krow, awesome to see you go far in these tournaments, also how insane was episode 49 of the anime! :O so hopeing they release the complete soundtrack when the season finishes.
Nice work Krow! Hope you can get that Gold Bit soon! Just a small request, would you mind putting on subtitles for the beys people used on the screen for a few seconds longer please? I keep having to pause/rewind to read them. Great video though!
Wizard Rod mirrors in other formats are one thing, but the design of the wide stadium and the fact that wide stadium matches are scored such that the last bey standing is the only one that gets points means that a maximum stamina build like Rod is basically required to score above 0. That's just the way the cookie crumbles. Do you know if there's a particular reason why your store still runs prelims in the wide stadium as opposed to playing 1v1? I don't think I see any JP tournament footage lately that uses the wide stadium, so it shouldn't be a requirement.
I can't explain why the store runs it that way officially, but it makes sense when there's 80 people and a small space. Two wide stadium set ups mean you can get people in and out in 3-4 hours.
I think that the next tourney u go to, you should use some sort of rogue combo that is good but no one would expect it. Maybe smthn like dragoon 9-60 ball (idk if this is good or not)
Krow one thing I would LOVE to see is some live commentary during your battles!! If this is possible I think it could really improve the quality of your videos!!!
The only reason I don't do commentary on G3 battles is because I want people to hear the audience and the energy they give off. Maybe I can do some post battle commentary, but I just prefer the audio remain untouched.
I would most likely go in with Phoenix Wing 9-60 point and gap my way through the wide stadium battles but you are a trooper though 4 rounds of wide stadium sounds awful.
CDG with E i think not a best combo. Those children screaming in full excitement , Good luck for you next tournament, And did you try any whale combo yet?
@@KrowBlader that's kinda.. sad And pretty weird Because at least it did help balance the game a bit And they just went back on it Any idea why they did it ?
@@GrumpyCat7 they tested it out for pretty much just a single tournament, just to see how well received it would be. Chances are, they're working on a finalized version, maybe not. We'll see.
What's up with the 3on3 Deck rules not being followed properly? On the Wide Stadium people just relaunch their Wizard rod all the time, that isn't how the rules work, each player brought 3on3 Decks to the tournament. Those rules being ignored for the majority of the tournament is pretty bad. No wonder why people complain so much about Wizard Rod, if it's only 3v3 RNG matches, yikes. Side Note ; (to be fair 2 3on3 Decks (with non duplicate parts between them ) should ideally be used, 1 for each stadium, most competitive option by far. In addition to actually following the 3on3 Deck rules on the Wide Stadium as the rule implies. Takara Tomy need to implement this across all event types ; 1 3on3 Deck per Stadium that will be used at the event, everyone wins if this is better implemented. More variety for the player, more skill oriented & healthier meta & less wizard rod problems & such since it can only be in 1 of your Decks not both, etc. Takara Tomy also get more sales as players need atleast 2 decks per event (or even 3 decks if 2 Player + 3 Player + Motor Stadium all are used at an event at the same time) 1 Unique Parts Deck per stadium is how we do proper events in Europe. P.s. Which Hasbro Bey have you seen at Japanese Events? Hard to gather data on this from EU. (Hard to find japanese event footage) (Suspect someone must be using both Phoenix Wing & Roar Tyranno for example, or should once it's more readably available) Want to see someone in japan use a Deck made of Optimus Primal + Bite Croc & Shark Edge.
@@KrowBlader Yeah I saw that. But then I asked why? 3on3 & 1on1 take the same amount of time & according to the Takara Tomy rules 3on3 should be used. Let me play devils advocate here. (The only reason one could give for 1on1 is to save time, but it doesn't save time, it only comes with huge negatives. (If time was truly the issue then the other 3-Player Stadium Rules (Frist to 2 Wins instead of first to 5 point's) would be used as it's faster since it halves the number of maximum battles from 7 to 4) Takara Tomy need to enforce 3on3 very strictly. Otherwise Events like these suffer ; Bad event formats, lead to bad/suboptimal player experiences, leads to negative marketing & bad sales, etc. 1on1 should never be used since all events are held with a "more than 1 battle needed to win points system" anyway. 1on1 only provide negatives) Also asked another more interesting question directed more towards you than the event organizers that is still awaiting an answer. That prior question from my initial reply still intrigues me more than the subpar tournament format you had to endure when it should have been 3on3. Would love answers regarding my prior P.S. Question. (The 1on1 vs 3on3 critique isn't directed towards you, very disappointed in Takara Tomy and/or the store, depending on who makes what call, leading to subpar events)
Honestly if I was allowed to use it I would probably use one of the Hasbro exclusives that can counter WizardRod fairly well like RoarTyranno or TalonPtera. Though since I can't maybe CobaltDragoon 5-60 or 5-70 Elevate or if I can't beat them join them lmao.
They have to ban wizard rod. It’s just too consistent and oppressive, especially in a 3 way battle. The spam is getting ridiculous in Asia. Hopefully they ban it so that when it’s released on hasbros side, we can proactively ban it to maintain the integrity of Hasbro tournaments
Hasbro are not gonna ban it pre-emptively cause they want the products to sell. It's the same principle that Konami goes by when they release another busted archetype for Yu-Gi-Oh. What you can at least hope for is that they also release a decent counter to Rod in the same wave. Heck even TalonPtera from testing that other folks did can counter Rod decently well.
@@GlennShiraishi if wizard rod gets banned in Japan officially, an argument can made to ban it at least in WBO tournies here. In the trading card game Duelmasters, the card Bombazar, dragon of Destiny was so absurdly broken and banned in Japan, that before it came out officially in America, it was placed on an official “watch list” by Wizards of the coast. The game died before it officially received a ban. But it certainly would have saw said ban if the game continued on
They don’t need to ban WizardRod. There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s the best bey in the game and everyone is using, so what? Everyone has access to the same beyblade so there’s nothing unfair about it. If it was a lottery bey like AeroPegasus then maybe I could see the argument to ban it since everyone doesn’t have equal access to it. But WizardRod is a standard release and everyone can go get one. If Rod mirrors are boring to you then play a different game.
@Brandonk12991 Yeah but TT isn't gonna ban WizardRod either. At best they will probably implement that limit regulation that docks a point or 3 for folks using WizardRod on 9-60 and Ball. And also Wizards absolutely refused to ban Bombazar Dragon before it was too late and Duel Masters died and in the current era they aren't that good with banning problem cards either for Magic the Gathering.
@@The.Milk.Wizard “That card/ character/ blade , etc is broken, but everyone has access to it” mentality does not refrain from something being overpowered in a competitive environment. Wizard rod is clearly the best defense and stamina blade simultaneously and hurts TT’s and soon to be Hasbro’s sales. The fact that in every 1 blade tournament, and in every 3 on tournament all we see is wizard Rod proves this point. Everyone wants to win therefore everyone spams Wizard Rod and the problem continues to persist. For sale of diversity, competitive beyblade health, and a stagnant meta, the blade should be outright banned
21:43 is rim drifting like this legal? Is it just as long as it makes it into the stadium within a certain timeframe, or are you able to just let it sit up there on the rim the whole battle
