Absolutely love this campsite, I think it's my favorite one yet! I really hope you come back to this one many more times, you just can't beat that view! You're the only person I've seen that puts lettuce on nachos. LOL usually it's black beans instead. Since you couldn't put coals on top of the Dutch oven, next time heat the lid up on that other burner and when you put it on top of the Dutch oven it'll radiates heat from the top down onto the cheese and for the love of god, please be sure and wear your helmet even when the scooter isn't that fast. I was raised by my mother who had brain injury and I've had several other friends end up with brain injury from incidents it just isn't worth it. Looking forward to the family RV trip, your life is awesome, the kids are adorable and they crack me up.

I grew up on a farm 100 miles east of DFW. I didn't understand why people would make a big deal about the stars until I got older and spent the summer with my aunt in Grapevine. She had to explain what light pollution is and how it hides the stars.

In Florida, when we have a burn band, it's only for open campfires. Not bar bq grills or gas fire pits.
We can only use propane fire pits or stoves during a burn ban. No charcoal or firewood, or anything that can have sparks
Looks like a beautiful day we just dealt with a hurricane in south east Louisiana we didn’t deal with the brunt of it but lots of cleanup as usual.

Brian I live in Texas and actually a few hours from where you are camping and I have not heard anywhere in Texas that there is a fire ban. Can you explain??

I'm in the market for a new mattress for my Tuff Stuff Alpha. Did you replace your original mattress with the Hazli or do you store it on top of the original mattress deflated when your RTT is closed? Looking to gauge if there is enough room to store it in the RTT. Also, Clints makes a mighty fine salsa! lol
I kept the original mattress in there. When I deflate the Hazli I can close the tent with both still in there👍🏻

Glad they opened back up for camping. We finally got our boat pulled from the tornado wreckage. Be safe up there. 😊
How was the boat?
@@BrianWatersOutdoors it was a total loss with about 50-75 other boats. The boat floor was peeled completed off and the one of the walkways and our patio dock landed on our boat. The marina store was flattened. The owners Bill and Sherry have done an amazing job cleaning up. The new marina got hit, but not as bad. A total mess.
