- We're putting up our Outdoor Decorations for Halloween 2022! Over the past 3 years I've been buying yard decor and lights from Lowes, Target, and Michaels, to create a Creepy Cemetery Graveyard display. It's not too scary, but definitely fun & festive, and I hope that you enjoy the ideas that I'm sharing for this spooky season!

It’s officially spooky season at our house! We’re kicking off the Halloween decorating with a Creepy Cemetery in our front yard! 🪦

Hi Megan, put a brick or something at bottom of your black planter to raise up the purple mums by your front door. Where did you get the purple mums?? They are beautiful!
Your decorations are never tacky. You have a good eye for detail and choice. You seem to be getting better every year
I think the decor naturally evolves & looks better as we build up our collection 🤗 it definitely looks more complete than previous years
@@lovinglifeasmegan if u get more skeletons you should name one bobby bones (thats my skeletons name)
For the mums- just put something in the bottom of the planter to lift them up. Anything you have that you don’t use will work- paint cans, rocks, anything heavy that can sit on the mum will work!
I think I have a paint can in the shed! Great idea!
I was going to suggest the same thing! Great minds think alike!
TIP... If you want a glow in the dark skeleton, just spray paint the one you already have. It's much cheaper to buy a can of glow in the dark spray paint than buy a large glow skellie. If you need to weather proof it more, get a matte finish, clear, outdoor Rust-Oleum spray, For a top coat. You can customize your existing skeleton color also.😊 For the skull in the skeleton hand, an easy way to get it to light up, is to carve a small hole in the top and insert a sun rechargeable walkway light, in the head. ( if you get sunlight under the overhang.)
I don’t want to have a solar light sticking out of it lol. I’d rather just stuff some fairy lights in there

It's amazing I love it. Since you just popped the purple mums into the urn planter they are the right size for the container just put a big brick into the bottom of the planter to make them sit up higher in the container. Everything is spooky and awesome. Thanks for the motivation to decorate for Halloween. We just moved and the thought of putting more time into decorating for Halloween is a bit overwhelming. Now I really want to decorate

We in Maryland had rain from Sunday-Wednesday last week lol. My boyfriend loves loves Halloween
We had rain & storms for 6 days straight. It definitely delayed things for us, we usually like to start Halloween decorating Oct. 1st, but we’re thankful it wasn’t worse & there was no damage or anything.
