'Prince Of Wales'. The brand new P2 Class locomotive is really coming together now.

At the Great Central, we've always had close links with the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust who built 'Tornado'. Their next project is a mighty P2 locomotive, number 2007 'Prince Of Wales.'
With so much experience under their belt, this loco is coming together much more quickly than Tornado did, with many major components either complete or at an advanced stage.
The Trust want to get the loco steaming so it can take part in the 'Stockton and Darlington Railway' 200th anniversary celebrations, which take place in 2025.
