You just gave me another Christmas gift idea. I’m tired of Afghans and blankets. Last Christmas, I started changing my Christmas decorations to red and white. I made an Afghan and pillows for my couch in C2C candy stripe. (Red & white). I plan on getting this yarn this year to make myself 2 kitchen towels and 2 potholders from your design for my Christmas kitchen. Then buying the colors my two daughters like, for THEIR kitchens for year round use. Thank you.

It will make a cute Christmas decoration with a candy cane look for December. I love the shell pattern gives a nice fancy look to it.

Love it. My aunt used to crochet and would make dishtowels or even dishtowel toppers where she would attach crochet handles onto pre-bought dishtowels. Hopefully I inherited her talent. She was an amazing crocheter. This looks really easy and quick. My kind of project.

I've made this dish towel for my kitchen . Now I'm making it without the hanging part or button . They make awesome towels to dry dishes on that you dont want in the dish washer .

Hi. Lois here. I have been crocheting this type of hanging dish towl for a long time. I have not done the shellstitches but used other stitch patterns. The difference in tour's and mine is the top...I like tour's better. Thanks..Love the yarn too.,.LGB
Lois, again. I also did these for the bathroom..The fold over & button also work on a towel rack, then I don't have to pick up the towels off the floor after the kids! Love to fancy them up a bit with ruffles and ribbon. Bye, LGB
