    I had a pleasure to play with Nona in my childhood, back when I was 8 years old, Participating in a Georgian national Tournament. She played against top 3 players of the tournament (me being on the 3rd place sharing it with another guy), of course she drew all 4 games with us so that we wouldn't feel sad. Back then, she was my hero and it really meant a lot for me, one of my best chess-related memories.... Thank you for covering some of her games man, rock on!

    at 06:44 how about white bishop to f5 forking the queen and the rook?

    • @tigrengbisakol8280
      @tigrengbisakol8280 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes.black can just capture the queen on f5,after which that ...d4 check leads to loss of the white queen itself.Judit would learn from this loss and became the aggressive player that she was.At one time she was even in the top 10 of the unified list,beating male GMs regularly.

    In 7:28 instead of Rc3 why not bishop takes on c6, then its checkmate. If white queen captures the bishop then black queen takes on h2. And if white queen defends by going to g2 instead of taking bishop then black queen can take on h2 and checkmate as the white queen is pinned by the black bishop.

    • @Elonger.

      Queen on h2 is unprotected and i can't see any sequel moves after that queen sacrifice.

      Manuel G Usually in openings like exchange french, exchange caro-kann and petroff defense,we see this Nxd7 theme, I don't know why exactly this exchange of knights is necessary, but I guess we don't wanna play f4 or retreat the knight to f3, thus leaving the option Nxd7 ... Could anyone explain me in detail ? Thanks

    • @thenpguy5852
      @thenpguy5852 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can't really answer that question. It's kind of like asking "Why do fish swim in water" It's because they do swim, you cant really explain it in a complex way it's very simple.
      The position was a theoretically analysed one and nxd7 and bxd7 was part of the variation. They didn't trade the pieces because they were grandmasters, just because it's theory
