When I listen to this song I think about him. Rest in peace, Vladimir!

This is how it feels, when the points of reference, the affective pillars of our life ... have to go. This Youthanasia album was the best Megadeth did. It was made after Dave almost dying from consuming drugs and had their best formation imo (Mustaine, Friedman, Ellefson, Menza). The whole album talks about failures. "Addicted to Chaos" obvously talks about his addiction to cocaine and pills and the people who turned back to him.
There are so many layers in this song. I always thought it was about issues, having that chaotic monster inside, that turns everything upside down. Doesn't matter what you do. You just have to live with it. Never goes away.
