Hello! To me, its important to mention, that AI judge one or another joseki as isolated patterns, e.g. on empty board. So, in real game, the situation nearby the corner or even in opposite corner may change AI evaluation, and "bad joseki" may become the good one. Right ?
Interesting, thank you! Many variations show outside thickness as a result, it often being better unless the corner is too big. However, handling the thickness well may be quite a problem to even low kyu players, so these players might like to avoid these thickness variations. I used to lose quite a lot of games sitting at the thickness side of the game. Hmm, if you like to avoid problems, don’t play go. Instead of the pincer, White could also play the diagonal move, the knight’s extension or the diagonal attachment. Which of these moves is best? Is this pincer the only viable pincer? I understood AI generally doesn’t like pincers, is this one the exception? Sorry, many questions, maybe they inspire you for some sequel video’s.
I feel proud because i discovered this pinzer and some of the variations playing today against myself
I really like playing the high pincer, thanks for going through all the different variations in such detail!
Great video ! interesting to watch, how AI sometimes has a DDK style and still is always stronger than human hehe
Thank you for fulfilling my request! It is really helpful for me and I will use it in my games! :)
Go: A Chinese game filled with Japanese terms, very popular in Korea.
So much information to study... Ahh! But great lesson! Thanks!!
At 4:04, I have seen AI recommend the two-space pincer at 16 - 10 as well. I think it's another modern variation. What do you think about this move?
Great stuff. I haven't played this as black, maybe I will give it a go! :))

I just played that move right before watching the video as a DDK. My opponent didn't respond very well :)
