No, people have ignored Chris Marion on bass. He's also a talented violinist and singer. Anyone who's been following Tim and Austin will know Chris and his awesome talent. In What's it to You he plays mandolin brilliantly, and he does a stunning guitar solo on Austin's Neon Moon.
Agreed! He's amazing and Ithe first time i heard this I tried SO hard to find an find a solo channel for him and just couldn't find one! If anyone knows it, please, please, PLEASE share! Thank you!
Austin and Tim always sound great together. They have other collaborations. Next do Tim and Austin singing What's it to You.....you will absolutely love it. I'm with you....all Tim has to do is read a book or anything. His speaking voice...oh my.
I really loved this performance by Tim & Austin & the other guys. Liked Austin singing in his lower register. I don't think I have ever heard Tim sound so clear & crisp in his upper falsetto range. Who would ever believe that he is a natural bass who can drop down into the basement depths. Wouldn't it be cool to have these guys perform for you at home.
I feel the same way Sam. I’m married too but these men….their singing is just divine. That was on Austin’s deck. They do collaborations a lot. Chris Chatham on guitar is a good friend of Tim’s and they write music and sing together. Austin has sung with Sebastien on keyboard and piano a lot and Chris Marion is Tim’s brother in law. Surrounded by musicality. Good reaction Sam. 😍🥰
The deck was built by Austin and his father, with help from 'Amberly. You can see it being started in Earn It, half built (and very dangerous) in Moonshine and completed here (except for the pile of lumber which Someone clearly forgot to clear away).
Thank you for the Austin/tim Reaction. Enjoyed that and if you like them performing in Austin's backyard, catch Austin and Tim's wife, Jennika, performing "Signed Sealed Delivered" in the backyard. Looking forward to your reaction. Cheers!
Tim has a 5 octave vocal range. He has a solo album where he sings all parts and beat boxing. It is hip-hop style but jaw droppingly awesome.it is Pieces of Me by Tim Foust. He has also written songs as well. He is awesome in concert as is all 9f Home Free. Congratulations on being a new Home Fry!!!
Check out “What’s It to You?”, the newest collaboration by Tim and Austin. Chris Chatham is with them, too, along with Jeffrey East. Trivia: On the video of Tim solo doing Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/ Stay, Chris is the one recording-you see his hands on the board and a shadowy shot of his head.
I was at the VA when you reacted to this. I saw Home Free Live live sunday nite and it was such a thrill every time. The WORLD loves you and keep it up.
I love Brooks and Dunn and their music and Tim and Austin did a wonderful job singing this, just loved it. Home Free, all 5 of them together or any of their individual efforts are always just wonderful and mind blowing. As you continue to react to their various covers and original songs, I loved your reaction to Austin and Rob singing opera, Nessun Dorma. Many have been saying they cover all genres of music, not just Country and that proves it.
To me the best part was Tim, who normally sings the bass part, here singing the high tenor part and Austin, normally the high tenor, singing low tenor below Tim. What fun that must have been for them.
Years , a whole ot of years ago, , a few young couples, guys and girlfriends, used to have weekend camping parties and from dusk into wee hours we ate, drank wines and beers while these 4 guys and wives who performed at taverns and dance halls sang and even composed music. To hear them sing, not performing, done in outdoors with ocean waves as background, kind of memory you can just close your eyes, yes even cry too. There is a huge difference between live performances and that of enclose bars, barns and indoor staged. For my old ears those guys "sang" just ope ed up and let it blow into no boundary freedom. Good reaction.
I always LOVE your reactions, Samantha! AND I completely understand how you feel about these guys! Only Home Free & John Farnham can bring me to tears even when they sing a happy song because their voices are so incredible - John's by himself & Home Free guys together! 😊
On Austin’s channel there is another duet with Tim called, “ what’s it to you”? It’s great, please check it out! Chris Marion in this video is Tim’s brother-in -law!
They're on Austin's back deck (he built it himself). Chris Chatham is a frequent collaborator with Home Free and is part of Tim & Austin's consortium "Sweet & Low Music Co." (the first 1/2 hr. is free!). Chris Marion is Tim's brother-in-law.
Tim Foust is amazing. It's a rumor or legend, not sure which, that Tim was ordering at a restaurant, and almost all the women around his table stopped eating & looked to see where that voice was coming from. Please also check out Chance singi Wayfarying Stranger...it will knock you out too. Chance gets to use his bass voice !!! One last note the gentleman on the far right, in the purple shirt and the bass guitar, that is Chris Marion, the real life brother in law of Tim Foust...His wife is Jenika Marion Foust.
This song first charted on Billboard's Top Pop Singles chart by B.W. Stevenson on 07/2801973 and peaked at #9 and stayed on the chart for 16 weeks. Brooks & Dunn version hit the Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart on 04/06/1996. It peaked at #1 for 3 weeks and was on the charts for 20 weeks. When I lived in Orlando, Florida I saw them twice at concerts held at the arena that was once home to the Orlando Magic. All I know about HOME FREE is what I read about from the posts here on Netflix. I saw the Christmas one back in early December. It was their take on "Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer.
The same afternoon when this was recorded Austin recorded Signed Sealed Delivered with Tim's wife Jenika, Chors Chatham and Sebastien, also on his channel. An amazing performance and well worth checking out. All these people plus Jeffrey East (brilliant singer/songwriter), Tim's sister in law Louisa (violin) and Ernie Halter (great songwriter/instrumentalist) have formed a new band Sweet and Low Music Co. The more informal settings and performances that Tim and Austin have been doing have been fantastically popular, like the informal recordings on Austin's channel. So they formed the new band to deal with all that. Rest assured, Tim and Austin are not leaving Home Free!
Home Free was touring Europe when COVID-19 sent them home, so it might be easier to see them than you realize. I drove 500+ miles to see them last weekend, and it was completely worth it.
I loved your reaction! And I completely understand what you meant at the end. A few of us Europeans are in the early stages of planning Backyard Bashes in Europe (hopefully next year). We are already in contact with Tim but don't know any time frame yet. There are 6 locations in the talk at the moment (mine would be in Southern Germany), so maybe you would be interested?
If you have never heard the song, then you have to go and listen to the duo that, in my humble opinion did the best cover ever recorded. That would be the country duo Brooks and Dunn whom Austin mentioned in this video. Don't get me wrong, these guys knocked it out of the park in their cover of the song.
Tim Foust can sing with anyone. He has a video, Falling Over You on his channel featuring four other men from various Acapella groups. Peter Hollens just announced that he and Tim are recording an album.
@@lschoenrank Glad you liked it. Tim Foust was on Layne Stein's channel Pattycake Productions in Step Sister Tik Tok. He pops up from time to time on other people's videos.
My hubby, who is a musician, would probably leave me, if any one of them would sing in our backyard...at least in his dreams! But, I luv them more, lol! 🤗🤫
This was a great cover of Brooks and Dunn. They’re singing on Austin’s deck in his backyard with several friends. Tim in Austin and Chris just put out another song they did with Jeffrey East called “what’s it to you”!! It’s just as good as this group of friends together! Nice reaction!!
If you look on the Home Free TH-cam channel there are some little mini movies with Tim. Southerner in the Snow is my favourite, when he travels up to Minnesota in the winter. He hates the cold weather and it's hilarious. Highly recommended!!
You say their names correctly, and then you overthink it. haha. Let's see if I can help. Austin Brown (Awwwstin) Tim Foust (Fowst). Like saying the word "ouch." I may have totally messed you up now. haha. As always, I love your reactions because they are so heat felt. Thank you for all you do. Love, from Florida USA
Super sweet reaction! Sub! You should hear to Home Free and Texas Hill with Go tell it on the mountains! Or all of the other great songs from Home Free.
Unfortunately Austin does not have any merchandise on his page right now. Chris Chatham has been as a friend of Tim's for a long time. Chris Marion is Tim's wife Jenika brother. And Sebastien Douyon is a friend of Austin's and plays the keyboard or piano for his solo stuff. Always enjoy your reactions to anyone from Home Free.
I think the Timeless tour was their last "world tour." That was two whole albums ago now. I think they'll be doing a new world tour soon. They just kinda got derailed by covid.
Ok now you need to hear both Brooks & Dunn's version and the original By BW Stevenson. The original is great, but Brooks & Dunn are the gold standard. Seen them in concert multiple times. I've seen concerts in many genre's over 40 years. Brooks & Dunn are in my top 3 live acts I have ever seen. Sadly you will have to live with Austin & Tim's version as singing this was just too hard on Ronnie Dunn's voice- they no longer sing it live. (They have a huge number of songs to pick from though)
you [ronounced theier names correctly the first time. Austin pronounced Ostin, Tim foust pronounced Fowst, love your reactions Samantha. Home Free will get nto the EU probably in 2023 as they cancelled many concerts in the EU at the height of the Pandemic in 2020
Yeah, this was pretty dog gone good, wasn’t it? Love these guys so much. It’s OKAY, I’m as straight as a guy can be, but I have a huge man crush on these guys! So entertaining!! So good!
Home Free was touring Europe when they had to rush home hours before the US closed our borders due to quarantine. It's Austin (like the Texas city) Brown and Tim Foust, like you scream when you stub your toe. "Ow!" They're preforming on the deck off Austin's house that he built himself. If they were filming from a different angle we'd see Austin's fishing pond in his front yard.
Another great duet I think you would enjoy is one with Tim and Peter Hollens covering Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence" (th-cam.com/video/3HboNZ8HFF8/w-d-xo.html)

I never cease to be amazed at the range of Tim Faust. From sub bass to alto falsetto the man can cover all male parts.
I really loved this performance by Tim & Austin & the other guys. Liked Austin singing in his lower register. I don't think I have ever heard Tim sound so clear & crisp in his upper falsetto range. I like that you wait until the end of the song to comment on it. Your face says it all during the song; no words are needed. Thanks for that.
Amazing version of this song. Perfect for their vocal styles.
This is one of my favorite collaborations of theirs. Such a fantastic cover! Loved your reactions Samantha!
Genuinely surprised that balcony held up under the weight of all that talent!!! The original of this song is amazing, but this cover was absolute 🔥🔥🔥
The deck was built by Austin and his father, with help from 'Amberly. You can see it being started in Earn It, half built (and very dangerous) in Moonshine and completed here (except for the pile of lumber which Someone clearly forgot to clear away).
Don't forget Adam Chance has his own TH-cam channel too. He has a new video Wayfairing Stranger.
Thank you so much for sharing your reaction!! Who would have thought that we would hear Tim sing higher than Austin? lol
This may help for pronouncing Tim's last name: It's Fou-st, where Fou rhymes with WOW. Great reaction as usual. Thanks for posting.
I love that Tim is wearing an Austin Brown shirt in this video.
You describe it SO WELL! I feel the same way listening and watching Austin and Tim and Home Free. I love them SO MUCH. Great Reaction !
I think that this just shows how much Austin and Tim just love performing music with friends and love to share the experience with their fans.
