I love that your faces finding new Oasis tunes in America in 2021 are exactly the same as mine was when they were released to me and mates back in the day. They were the soundtrack to my formative years. Keep enjoying the ride, plenty more to come. Much love from the UK 🇬🇧
You should react to Don’t Go Away live Gmex! The song was about their mum who was diagnosed with cancer (luckily she is fine today). But yeah, Don’t Go Away is probably in every Oasis fan top10: It’s a masterpiece.
This tune picks me up whenever I hear it my total anthem and antidote to bad times ever since I was a teenager, like pretty much all the tunes oasis did, and their solo stuff stuff
Love this song, this was my youth! I was lucky enough to grow up through the Brit-pop explosion. Definitely Maybe was the first album I bought with my own money. Oasis, Blur, Radiohead, Pulp, The Libertines always make me think of my teenage years.
One of my favourite b-sides....they used to have 4 songs on every Single release. I am playing this and singing this on Karaoke at my local pub tonight for my 43rd birthday!
This was somehow left off their third album “Be Here Now”. Definitely should have made the album but that’s Noel for ya. He is the king of releasing extraordinary b sides!
you should do; 'shout it out loud' or 'idler's dream' or d'yer wanna be a spaceman' or 'sad song' or 'the fame' or 'flashbax' or 'half the world away. all brilliant, all noel vocals and all B-sides...
I don't know why, but I'm really enjoying seeing you guys fall in love with Oasis. I was 7 & 8 when Definitely Maybe then Morning Glory came out and got into them through my older brother buying those albums. I lost track of them for a few years then started getting back into them around Heathen Chemistry aged 15, then really got stuck in with Lyla and the subsequent album Don't Believe The Truth...as a then 17/18 year old I could revisit the older albums with a more mature mindset and fell in love. I was lucky to see them at Heaton Park about 2 months before they broke up & luckily despite the now obvious tensions they were sensational that night. Seen Liam and Noel solo 4 & 3 times respectively and just love them. Because of how the music industry is nowadays, I'm not sure if you guys will be able to fully appreciate just how phenomenally huge that band was. In the mid 90s England was a great positive place, you had the feel good factor of Euro 96 plus an incredible music scene with Oasis, Blur, Suede, Pulp and many others. But Oasis were a cultural phenomenon, they were the last band to influence an entire generation. So glad you guys are buzzing like we all were 👊
So funny you mention the "late 90's teen movie" thing cause I just discovered it LITERALLY is in the last scene of a 1998 teen movie called "The Faculty". You were spot on Ahahahahahah
Other Bands ( Cast ) - ( The Bluetones - Slight Return ) - ( Manic Street Preachers - If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next ) - ( Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees ) A lot of these bands here have very good songs
Hey guys. Good videos. I was lucky enough to live through the original Oasis hysteria during the 90's in the UK. Songs you should definitely check out are: Stand By Me, D'you know what i mean, and Noel Gallagher's Dead in the Water. Keep it up guys!!.....Oh and by the way, when you react to the 'Knebworth' gigs.....I WAS THERE !!!
@@ARIASofthenations I am very fortunate indeed. Right place at the right time. The 90's Oasis phenomenon in the UK was absolutely incredible. It also helped that the other biggest band in the UK at the time was Blur, so it hyped up the 'North v South' divide which made 90's UK the best era for me.
You should check out the Manic Street Preachers - A Design for Life, Everything Must Go, Australia and If you Tolerate This are some of their best rock tunes. They supported Oasis at Knebworth, very good Welsh band.
Lads, I love watching these vids and seeing you enjoy Oasis for the first time its the closest thing to hearing them again for the first time. They were brilliant days. Please check out The Verve, a band cut from similar cloth to Oasis, It's said that Oasis Cast No Shadow was written about Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft so there you go. The Verve - Space and Time and Velvet Morning off Urban Hymns should be a good start. These were just album tracks not single releases but let's work this one from the inside out.
Oasis - Headshrinker is a dope ass song. Please do the lyric video to Loverman, From Her to Eternity, Jesus Alone, and Red Right Hand by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Also, please do Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Stagger Lee live at Austin City Limits
As our Oasis journey continues I am finding out that those two songs are NOT who they are. They have unfairly been marginalized by those two songs. And I love that I am finding out how EPIC they truly were. Much love bro.
@@ARIASofthenations Totally agree, I was a big grunge person in the 90s and thought Oasis wasn't my style due to the radio beating Wonderwall to death. But you're right, not a fair representation, they had some rocking tunes...Acquiesce and Morning Glory in particular comes to mind. Also people think they didn't make it here in the US, not really true, WTSMG was #4 on the charts and they sold out Madison Square Garden multiple times, even a show in 2008!
Watch ‘Dont Go Away’ live from gmax 👍🏻 Liam had to do a few takes recording this song because he kept breaking down, as it’s about his mum!
Really good shout pls react to this

Much love from the UK 🇬🇧
It’s the outro of 90s teen movie “the faculty”
I always said that it sounded like a 90’s teen movie song!!!
I've always loved Liam ending the 2nd chorus with "come on!". And it's "my faith's unshakable"
The smile on my face is huge everytime i watch an oasis reaction from you guys
I've followed oasis since day 1 and still love them..
You should react to Don’t Go Away live Gmex! The song was about their mum who was diagnosed with cancer (luckily she is fine today). But yeah, Don’t Go Away is probably in every Oasis fan top10: It’s a masterpiece.

Having this track at my funeral.
Utter class 👌.
So glad you lads have woke up to Oasis .
Best band in the world by a country mile
One of my favourite b-sides....they used to have 4 songs on every Single release. I am playing this and singing this on Karaoke at my local pub tonight for my 43rd birthday!
oasis are back !!!!!
'Cigarettes and alcohol' was a class tune
This was somehow left off their third album “Be Here Now”. Definitely should have made the album but that’s Noel for ya. He is the king of releasing extraordinary b sides!
Noel said it was left out because he chose Magic Pie instead cause he sings on it, (3:18) th-cam.com/video/hOtwMRjZn7I/w-d-xo.html
@@Hugo-qf8ss Yeah i know it wasn’t on there because of Magic Pie. Ludicrous decision 🤣

@@Hugo-qf8ss Mental decision, I think it would've been a No. 1.
React to married with children to.. young liam sounds good and smooth guitar by Noel ..
Scorpion rising or Carnation, Liams vocals are amazing trust me
Another great reaction! You are spot on about the solo’s. Nothing too flashy but they always fit the song perfectly and sound great👍🏼
This is one of the greatest songs of all time for me - can’t believe it was a b-side to a single (good job it went number 1!!!) 😎🖤
“Round Are Way” live at Knebworth = EPIC 😎😎😎
Many of there Bsides were absolute Top Tunes deserved to be on Albums. Listen to I Got The Fever and Sister Lover.
@@davidcorbett1713 completely agree - love both them songs - amazing!! 😎😎😎👌👌👌🎵🎵🎵
@@davidcorbett1713 and “Going Nowhere” off that single - all 3 b-sides were amazing I thought 👌👌🎶🎶

The D'ya Know What I Mean Single is incredible! Every b-side is better than the A-side. This, Heroes and Angel Child!!!
Heroes is a David Bowie song so don’t rlly count but it is better then the original
