  • Finally getting to the rest of my racing footage from the California Enduro Series! Its been a wild ride the last 5 months between racing and working for Norco bicycles as their new Field Marketing Specialist for the Western USA. I’m stoked to get to some really good content I’ve had stored for months now..
The Mt. Shasta Enduro might be one of my favorite races of the year now… oddly enough it’s one of the hardest places to ride in a straight line and control anything that’s happening traction wise on this otherworldly Moon flower Dust! Ashland will probably always hold true to being my favorite race of each season, but this place is so challenging it’s almost fun for the sheer raw sense of unpredictability & self control management. I always leave this race feeling like I’m starting to get the hang of Ski-Biking & two wheel drifts. Fun times!
Ended up coming in 6th place for my Expert 30-39 Category & with a almost completely flat tire on stage 5, I was happy with being able to finish the race without any catastrophic equipment failures. Overall I’m stoked with how I rode aboard my new Sight 29 er which is absolutely sick & a balanced all mountain enduro-ish bike!
Hope you all enjoy the vids as I start rolling them back out again now that it’s my off season! Thanks for all the continued support and love as always! Stay rad fellow shredders 🤘🏼🏁🚴🏼‍♂️💨

OMG, it was painful to watch and hear all those rim hits but you were still calm and kept pushing to finish. Great riding Jay 💪🏻

Man each one I felt, definitely hurt inside.. 🫣 Just tried weighting the front the whole way down to avoid exploding my rear wheel.. I’m still shocked there was even any air left at the bottom.
When Jordan from Specialized checked my psi he said it read 8psi, he then just filled it up to 27psi again and it never leaked for my final stage.. so weird

Omg… seriously 😬 I’m so shocked my rear Carbon wheel didn’t explode on me randomly! Those were some hard rim hits & the rims are still going strong 💪🏼

I'm thinking about doing this one this year. Do they open up the course the day before to practice?

Yes all the CES Races will have a practice day the day before the race! Super fun even if just to ride and race amongst other great people/friends
