Hi Brady and Heather, I know you guys are very private about which village your house is in, but I was wondering if you're in Piemonte or which region? My husband and I are looking to buy, (I'm an Italian-Aussie dual citizen), and I love the fact it always looks so cool where you are. I can't cope with the extreme heat, so want to focus on the cooler climate areas. Cheers.☺
Bad news: huge concrete slab. Good news: jackhammer attachment on it's way, don't have to do it by hand! Bad news: it's 3 hours away. Good news: you did not rupture the water line, & it's not raining!.
You talk about facing hours and hours of stress over something. It makes me wonder how many hours you must spend researching and problem solving all the things you face when renovating a project like this. It's amazing watching you work and seeing how far everything has come. I love it!
I will be a very proud father if my kids grow into adults with the ability to show as much level-headed positivity (not fantasy-land self delusion) in the face of life's not so uncommon adversities, as i have seen here 👏👏
What more Brady - there is always something. But this you guys will also overcome. Can't wait for the walls and windows to be finished. Exciting times.
I just noticed for the first time when you initially walked into the house how beautifully squared everything looked. And that arch, looks stunning. You are making real progress and it is really starting to show.
@@breabeyrouti7834 right.. its such hard work. There doing a great job. I know a lot goes wrong but look where they’re out and look how beautiful the houses it’s worth all the agony and pain. It’s a beautiful place. That’s what I want him to realize.
I was just coming on to say the same thing when I saw your comment. It may be that they're looking for some privacy (adolescence, right?) but we care about them and would love an update.❤
Everything's looking fabulous! FYI ~ I've had a couple custom kitchens designed for me . A couple things I've learned: #1 Load dishwasher from sink side & empty the DW from the opposite side. The glasses & dishes are most comfortably put away when they are directly above where you are standing when emptying. In an island, they are easily put away in drawers, designed for this, immediately next to where your'e standing. They are then easily retrieved for use. Also, a wide drawer directly in front of you for silverware/flatware, when unloading. The idea is to not have to take steps to walk around to put clean dishes away. #2 Be careful how high the pot filler is installed. Mine is perfect. I have 2 friends who's fillers are too high on the wall & splash way too much for them to use to fill a pot, so they don't use 'em...but they look good! Mine is 16.5 " from the top of the stove's burner to the half way mark of the pipe opening. I mention this because your pot filler pipe end & Heather's height make it look as though the designated spot may be too high. But what do I know!!! I'm throwing out advice/caution from the other side of the world! Warm hellos to the girls! Cheers! 🧓
What hard workers and thoughtful parents both of you are, paving a beautiful and meaningful childhood for your daughters step by step. Keep enjoying the process no matter how challenging it is at times. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo, Bravo. (from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada)
🤥🥲😔😤😞I'm very sorry for such a setback! Nevermind. You're the dream team. Next week this hiccup will just be part of the mosaic of your experience in Italy, and you'll be riding high about some new breakthrough.
Hang in there! You are doing so well and this home is going to be wonderful for your family! God Bless You All from Huntington Beach, CALIFORNIA 🏖️🇺🇸🙏🏻♥️
Bradey, Andrea is awesome he will get the concrete up. God bless Andrea and Family. God bless the plumber and his Family. God bless you Bradey, Heather, Alexa, and Chloe. God bless your Family's
Darn the set back! How great it’s not a huge one. Putting in the porch light wires was nothing better than perfection! Congratulations. Everything is looking fantastic. My son-in-law, a plumber, refused a pot filler for my daughter because of something goes wrong with it the tearing out to get to the pipes is too big a problem. I’d have one if I could! Thank you for showing us so much of your daily activity on the Stone House. I do miss the girls too.
Favorite of your video footage thus far..... Gives viewers a look at the challenges and solutions as they occur. You'll get through it per usual, Bradey, with your professional team on site, but we'll all be holding our collective breath until your next chapter...!!
My stomach is in knots and I'm just a bystander. I cannot imagine how you both have stayed so (outwardly) calm. You are making such terrific progress. Hang in there. Thanks for allowing us to tag along.
You should be so proud of yourself. You are an amazing hard worker and the respect you have for this home I love it. You and your family have a peace of heaven. Loving these 2 videos a week. Thank you!💚
Firstly, I really appreciate the extra effort Heather put’s into releasing extra videos. I enjoy watching each stage of the build and seeing it all come together. Brady, you are amazing and such a hard worker. It won’t be long until you and your beautiful family move in. Thank you and wishing you all the very best. ❤😊
Your renovation has really amped up, and I am enjoying watching you at work. You are so skilled and have thought through every challenge. It's going to be a beautiful abode for your family. Labor of love. Making the dream real.
Brady, you are an amazing patient soul. This excavation issue is but a mere “speed bump” in the road you are on. Keeping your sanity & saying “oh well” as you shrug it off is not an easy task. Both you & Heather are awesome examples of folks that are high vibe, taking things in stride, pretty much. 🥰😎 Stay focused on the outcome - which will be amazing - can’t hurt either, huh? 🥴 Behind the scenes letting your hair down & griping is well earned too.😊 Cheers you guys. 🙏🏼 Much love & admiration 🇨🇦 Jo
As a former 20-year Adobe employee I enjoyed seeing Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 on your Asus ProArt screen. That’s a nice piece of equipment. I always wondered what you used to edit the videos. You and Heather are so darned talented.
When the girls become adults and have kids of their own and they look back at these videos of the build and renovation of this home they and you will see how much effort, work, patience you have put into this and they will say our dad your grandad did this how exciting will that be. Have a lovely week.
I have been watching from the very beginning and to be honest, I had my doubts about turning this terrace locked house into the house of your dreams, but wow... with every new week I can see the vision taking shape. I loved that Heather was surprised about the sparkling water... it's the little things in life that speak volumes in our relationships! Kudos to you Bradey.
Wow!!! Brady the house is looking good!! I know you are excited that you are at this phase in construction. I have enjoyed every one of your videos. I can't wait to see the final results 😎👍🏕🏕🏕
Great to see you mid week again. Thank you so much for sharing. Sometimes it would be nice to have x-ray vision and see problems that may arise (concrete block). I'm sure you will sort it out as you have over come many other things. ATB to you all. Take care and stay safe. 🏡 X
Everyday is a new challenge.. thus don't know what kinda resistance have to face yet but Brady and Heather, with all your hard work plus a skillful workers your dreams house slowly will come to reality.

Another Wednesday treat! Thank you for another midweek video. You’ve come along g ways since you started the project and have overcome huge obstacles, you will get this done too. Blessings 🙏💜🙏
If it was that easy to thread an electrical conduit through the loose stacked stone walls, just imagine how easy it will be for air, water, and insects to make it through the walls. I know they pointed the insides but they really need to use lime mortar to seal the outside.
Hello from the states! I have enjoyed this so much from the very beginning I'm so happy, as I'm sure you are, to see you past the deconstruction and actually contracting your home. That is so exciting. Hopefully you won't hit too many more obstacles. God bless you all.

Nice job getting as much plumbing construction done so far. Digging the trench in the front had me wondering why you didn't turn the water off before the dig, just in case you hit the water line. Regardless, you are doing a fantastic job, and as always, thanks for sharing.
Oh, man.... The amount of work you have done on this house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing the extraordinary journey with all of us. I have learnt so much from watching you. The greatest thing I have learnt.... is gratitude. Your attitudes (ALL of you), are phenomenal. I have the greatest respect for your consistent, unerring positivity, gentleness and goodwill (which made me laugh like crazy, Brady, when you got mad at the goats!!! Now I know where the saying "He got your goat" comes from). Anyway, hats off to all of you (all my hats), and wishes/prayers for safe, smooth, productive continuation and finishing up. Much love from the Pacific Northwest. ❤

They use flexible wire here so it’s actually easier to pull the wire afterwards not before
