Thanks for the review on this one Robo, the price has kept me from pre-ordering him (mostly for budget reasons not complaint reasons) but seeing this in hand and being messed with definitely makes me think i will need to balance him into the figure budget soon.
As soon as I saw this, I thought "yeah, this can be modern Marvel Mister Hyde." But with his width being what it is... I really want to make him a Bane. The width makes him perfect for BREAKING THE BAT and other characters. Some green on the veins, a new head, maybe a belt with some Venom vials, and that's a pretty solid berserker Bane.
wouldnt it be cheaper and more efficiant to get the Mcfarlane Bane and customize him to your preference rather than spend over twice the amount on this? Mcfarlane Bane is only a tiny bit shorter and is nearly as big. Just not the insane pecs and shoulders

This can work as both a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Mr. Hyde (Movie or comic) or a Van Helsing movie Mr. Hyde. Other characters this body can be used for: Hulk (Green, gray, red, etc.) Pitt Bane (This just screams the Arkham Asylum game design) Savage He-Man (If you didn't like the Masterverse figure we got) Venom Solomon Grundy
Very tempted to make this into the classic Batman villain Blockbuster. And actually the bald head could work for the Nightwing villain Blockbuster from the 90s. But buying one of these would be bad enough!

The head with the hair could even pass for a really decent Sabretooth, if you hit it with some paint and found a way to make it sit nicely on a more standard buck.

This fig would make a perfect Solomon Grundy custom, I was very disappointed in the DC Multiverse Solomon Grundy BAF, it was way undersized, I want a more bulkier and monstrous Grundy and this fig would do wonderfully.😊
In what scale is this guy supposed to be? I suspect he's somewhere between one tenth or one twelfth scale, maybe? So, if he's that, he should fit in well with other figures who are roughly 6-8 inches. And speaking of which, imagine if these guys ( Loosecollector) were to make regular looking muscular human action figures as a base body for customization while maintaining all of its engineering such as this figure, I'm pretty sure a lot of fans ( especially MOTU fans) would jump on them for the sole purpose of replacing their Masterverse Revelation He-man's body cos the original body just looks atrocious
I just got mine yesterday. It definitely didn’t arrive mint. The figure looks like it was opened. Perhaps to remove the lupa demon babies? I don’t believe I ordered in time for the bonus.

Hi Robo, long time no chat. I don't like the base plastic color, maybe in hand it wouldn't bother me so much but the overall paint it's good. For such a bulky character the articulation, even though it's nothing special, it's good. The accessories are enough. In the end if it wasn't so expensive, $65 would be my top for a figure such as this, I would buy it. Thanks for the review The Fwoosh.

Are the heads swappable with the ML BAF Hyde? I would love to get a suited Hyde figure with the top hat and bald head to match his League of Extraordinary Gentlemen look more closely.
Its a really nice base body but i think the paint applications let it down slightly. Not sure whether its the contrast against the blue background or the colour contrast on my tv but he seems far more orange than he did in the promotional pics. Might just be me but there seems to be a difference. Still love to get him in hand though

It reminds me of the DC Direct Arkham City Solomon Grundy, that cost me £80 and fell apart of its own accord 3 months later.
I may use him a Cyrus Gold. Hope they make a Solomon Grundy out of this figure.

First custom idea I thought of is Madman. The shorts, size and proportions are already perfect you just need to make the head and collar.
