@Deaundrey, the bible does tell us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble. It further states that he that dwells in the secret place of the most high God, shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.....we're in his shadow because he's before us and behind us.. fighting this war for us. He is our refuge when the chilly winds of life blow, and they WILL blow.
