Thank you Dawn. I would love to learn more about the history of these pieces too. It's been nice sharing these videos because people will help me identify the age of a lot of them.
I love vintage Halloween pieces. What good finds! I was lucky enough a few years ago to find some vintage paper mache pumpkins on eBay but now prices are crazy there. I even scored a two sided pumpkin! The pumpkin person was so cool! Never seen one before.🧡🎃🖤
I would love to get my hands on a 2 sided pumpkin. Yes the Ebay prices are so high now ☹ Every blue moon I find a good deal but should have probably purchased more back in the day when I started looking.
Lately you've been hitting the jackpot at all those state sales! Love the idea of the chalkboard cabinet full of heirlooms!, maybe you can use some of your pumpkin spice tins as bases to rise the pumpkins and give them more height variation on the display...
Wow what a haul very Impressive! I love the old vintage Halloween stuff hard to come by around my area The old die cuts are another favorite love the videos you guys are awesome
I was shocked when I saw the paper mache pumpkins. I can find Halloween from the 70's-90's almost every weekend but to find true antique Halloween was amazing.
I’ve seen a few on EBay but the price is pretty steep.I found a channel on u tube Cathy Lebo she makes amazing paper mâché Halloween decorations some vintage looking a very talented lady
I work at a small museum and we have three paper mache pumpkins in our collection. We put them on display for Halloween. They are so delicate, it is a wonder any of them survived.
Amazing finds and collection! Love love love the owl and the little pumpkin boy. We don’t have a paper mache 🎃 but hope to soon! Thanks for sharing, it was a fun video!!
🎃 I really adore vintage things from 1920s 30s and 40s yet you can tell things are apply feel and handmade! The things made now just IS different. Iv seen some vintage styles brought back at Home goods and Poshmark, eBay. Really cool cats 🐈⬛ some Rae Dunn,
Great video. I love the vintage papier mache pumpkins. You find the best stuff. We went to a garage sale on Sat and asked about Halloween decorations the lady said someone else bought everything 10 minutes ago.😢
Oh man what a bummer. I have had that happen too. I'm glad you asked though you never know if people just forget to bring it out or if they have just don't have anything Halloween to sell.
The lantern at 12:30 was actually released through the Peter Paul candy corporation. Each lantern was stuffed with 40 caramels and had a black cat stopper. It's one of your later pieces that came out of the early 50s.
we had a few of the neon pumpkins when i was little. i wish i knew what happened to them! i do have a couple of blow molds that are from the 50s though
Hey Jeana i finally found me a mache pumpkin yesterday at an antique store and was worried it might be a reprint but it has the rings on the bottom. Im so excited. Only thing im wondering is mine had an old print number of 39. Mine is in immaculate condition other than i believe they painted the eyebrows on it but not for sure. Love your collection 🦇🎃🦇
@HollywoodHaunter I've seen a few online that had some print numbers. It very well might be the price. I'm so happy I've been looking at it all morning 😆! Hope you have a beautiful day!

I love the nostalgia the older pieces bring. I do add a few newer pieces to my collection each year, mostly from Home Goods like you said.
Wow! You have an awesome collection of vintage/antique paper mache pumkins! And the owl! I bet those $8 tags are from an antique store.
The probably were. Good eye!

Libby's can is likely from late 1960s to early 1970s, my dad always sings that song from their commercial.
I had to look up the commercial to hear the jingle :)

Check thrift stores. Stuff was cute. My 11 year old grandson loves owls.
I would be blown away if I saw one in a thrift store in my area. That would be the greatest thing ever 😍
Do you know what causes the markings on the bottom? Like what did they used to make them on?
Lovely! That first pumpkin is pressed cardboard, not papier-mâché
The little cat JOL is probably USA made, it doesn’t have the indents on the bottom, unless it’s pressed cardboard? Then could be german
