Stuff like that is why it infuriates me when some people make blanket statements that “all cops are scumbags”. Some people are so ignorant and don’t realize that a vast majority of officers love their communities and want nothing but the best for everyone.
Being a born and raised Miami boy I love seeing all police shows in Miami like COPS and The First 48. These old shows are my favorites. This was before the "race card" was played instantly by the suspect. Back then there was just cops, suspects and criminals.
My grandfather knew that word "reefer" from the 1920's jazz speakeasies where he played piano with Count Basie and Benny Moten. It was also called " hot tamale 🫔". Musicians back then got high while customers drank!
I've lived in Fla for over 40 yrs. Only been to Miami once....South Beach. Someone slipped a mickey in my wine way back in the early 80's. Thank goodness I was with friends. Never went back. 😳
All of those VHS tapes would be worth about $5 total now on a good day. 👍🏻 😉🤣😂 That first cop who gave the description of the guy that bailed from the car was so detailed. He saw the suspect running for 2 seconds and knew his race, age, height, weight, color and brand of clothing, color and style of sneakers, and that he had a short beard!! I think he's got a photographic memory. I love when one cop said, "We don't have a phone. " We don't hear that anymore.
God Bless Love and Keep you and your families to All our Cops. We're Praying for you. To our USA COPS: In South Africa you'd Never leave your car running n unattended, it'd be Stolen when you get back. ❤😂❤😂.
The couple that’s been together for 9 months…THIS IS THE REASON COPS ARE SCARED WHEN RESPONDING TO DOMESTIC CALLS…one minute she wants to leave, the next minute she’s kissing him and reassuring him …so he can do it again…make better choices lady…
nice some news ones, not recycled episodes with it zooming in and out to avoid copyright. It's crazy how 1998 looks like the 80's did when it was early 2000's.
26:57 in 2024, California, this is basically legal now. Shoplifting major amounts of stuff from retail store is encouraged in California. It’s a great state!
Interesting...Officer Hercules runs and jumps in his unit for a car theft call and takes off. Then all of a sudden the camera guy is magically in the unit with him. 😂
Any police officers will tell you to never leave your car running and I heard the police say I left my car running when I got out to chase him. Hope his car is still theirs
Notice regular citizens are less on edge make sense, and everybody respects one another in these older shows. Oh, and everybody isn’t covered in tattoos.
One of the saddest parts of watching COPS is when you want to find out about one of the officers on the show and you discover that the individual went bad or astray. Sad.....
Too bad Craig Greer turned out to be a sumbag. He was arrested in 2016 for helping with an online pharmacy scheme. He was sentenced to three years of supervised release, including 250 hours of community service and a money judgment of $88,635. What a shame.
24:50 wait a min .. so u mean to tell me if i take a reuseable bag and line it with ahahaaa 😂😂😂.. im joking lol, but i cant believe they released that kinda info in the video . cop tips 101 😅😅 shii the really do protect and serve eh😂😂😂
At mark 14:00 west the best thing I've watched in a long time. That officer was orginally called cuz the elderly young woman thought her car was being stolen. Atleast that's what I thought I heard. Anyway, it was nice to see how this police officer kept up regular visits until he was hurt. But once he was able to get back out & several months has past & the couple still remembers him. You could tell by their reactions & laughter that they remembered him & was excited to be able to see him again. You hardly see cops in an interaction like this w/the public but if it's a bad interaction then it's all over the news so the public only hears or sees the bad interactions leading to all the police are corrupt.
These are great. Love when we hear the communications between operator and LE.
Yeah. The old ones are awesome. They even refer to weed as refer! Made me lol.
I love him visiting Mr. & Mrs. SIMPSON! Super nice cop! (Seen it before too! I like it every time!)
That was heartwarming to see
Yes, so sweet ❤❤❤
Indeed. Very loving.
Kudos for the camera man! Running with the officer AND FILMING! 👏
i am always amazed that the camera man can catch all the action😳
@@rebeccastern3394yes, those camera men amaze me
Thank you CopsTV for these 3 great episodes. the tribute to fallen officers was great in episode 3!
16:25 omg those 2 are the cutest couple ever. God bless that officer for checking in on them and taking her to church ❤❤❤
Her trying to fix him up at church was so cute.
Precious ❤
Adorable
14:54 this is so sweet! Bless these cops for looking after the elderly
Beautiful young officer, the ladies hair was so pretty and her house spotless
Stuff like that is why it infuriates me when some people make blanket statements that “all cops are scumbags”. Some people are so ignorant and don’t realize that a vast majority of officers love their communities and want nothing but the best for everyone.
I don't even know why these cops chase the people cuz if they do catch him they just let him out the next day anyway
Amen
They're adorable. Very thoughtful!
26:47 Claims to not be shoplifting, yet she can't even be bothered to take the tag off the cap she stole 🤣 So dumb!
You certainly see some dumb people on COPS, but that was a crew of criminal masterminds in that car. 🙄
Ya except that used to be the look you dummy. 🙄 they all used to keep the tags and stickers on their hats that’s not proof they stole them.
It was a badge of honor.
They thought they were so smart. 😂😂
People used to do that as a stylin' thing for some reason.
Being a born and raised Miami boy I love seeing all police shows in Miami like COPS and The First 48. These old shows are my favorites. This was before the "race card" was played instantly by the suspect. Back then there was just cops, suspects and criminals.
I'd like to see the offices of the cops broadcast continue doing the work you're doing you're doing a great job keeping the community safe
17:46 that officer has a service revolver, that's so damn cool. Also made me smile to see the bit with Mr. And Mrs. Simpson. Fantastic episode.
Reefer?! I haven't heard that in such a long time. Ha ha ha! I don't think my kids know that word.
My grandfather knew that word "reefer" from the 1920's jazz speakeasies where he played piano with Count Basie and Benny Moten. It was also called " hot tamale 🫔". Musicians back then got high while customers drank!
Long live Saturday night. Watching this classic cops episode then I'm putting on the new episodes of America's Most Wanted that I have recorded.
Awwww, its been 6 months since he's seen them. They probably missed him ❤ so sweet!
officer jorge castillo needed to have his own cops show, he's got charisma and a helluva mustache!!
These really were some great Cops and some Great Shows!!
Can't beat the Camera Work and Sound even to this day..
That was so sweet of him to check on that older couple ❤ love his heart
Damn! That chase! Homeboy jumped up out the car and scaled that wall NO PROLLEMS! He jumper and landed at the top of the wall...dude has some ups!
dude still got caught with that insane head start, he might have hops but it’s nothing when you’re damn slow
Fr I slowed it down and the wall is as tall as him that was crazy
The officer that checks on the older couple brought me to tears ❤
Now that's cop that checks in on those sweet elderly folks is a credit to that uniform we need more like him. Good man.
Sneakes, shorts and still can't out run cops, you be SLOW boy. 5:42
But the chicken did 😂
@ 15:05 That was sweet when Officer Kino visited the elderly couple to see how they were doing. That is so sweet. ❤❤❤
It’s so sweet of the officer checking on Mr. & Mrs. Simpson .
Bless all of the officers and keep them safe.
I like how the perp usues his turn signal at 1:24, commiting several felonies, dont need a ticket for no use of turn signal😂
That got me too 😂
What a lovely couple. That officer rocks😊😊
Dude in the light blue baseball uniform has insane hops 😮
Pet chicken's name is Bob
Thanks😂😂😂
Why did the chicken cross the road so the police wouldn’t make it KFC
Wasn’t that the Colonels first name😆

The tag waving around on her hat…😂

5:56 These police officers are so COOL🎉🎉😢😂❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love old people. They're just the best and usually so sweet.
I like the little moments that make this show wholesome. I got a chuckle out of the chicken chase

That was funny watching the cop chase the chicken in the intro and then a cop said that's dinner.......that was funny LOL
Thanks for these episodes . Hopefully there are more from season 9

I reported the other channel for that! The constant zooming pissed me off! lol violating copyright on COPS episodes 🤦♂️
They call me officer Hercules... I'd call him officer giant beak.
The policeman that went to see the elderly couple, you’re such an angell😇much love and stay safe from Australia 💙💙
That was one hell of a jump up that wall in the chase.
What a lovely curiosity call for the elderly people..great to see communication..

The Simpsons are so precious 😍
They remind me of my grandparents
The cop who visited the old couple was COOL.
I swear what officers go through on the daily your average person couldn’t handle in a year
At 6:42 I find it very interesting that the Honda Civic that you see here is a stick shift.
5:04 i remember this clip from back in the day, this dude nailed that jump
What do you call a chicken that’s good with numbers?
A mathemachicken!
That first chase was great! Never saw that one.
"Lay on your face"

Ohmylanta i love Mrs. Simpson she's too cute ❤
Bad birds, bad birds, whatcha gonna do...

The chicken left Texas and went to Miami 56:27
Impressive that Miami uses the Q-Code. WOW... AND the International Phonetic Alphabet. Too cool, Mang. 😎
Is this Miami…..or New York, or Havana?
What a guy!!!!!!!! (Simpsons)
That is very sweet of the officer to check on them. And take them to church
The chicken named Bob reminded me of the cat named Larry😂😂
I LOVE working with older couples ❤
You ain't gonna catch no chicken!

heard of quite few gone are bad in 350 episodes. in aus if a cop goes bad they re trial their victims ..
What do you mean?
Dude shes wearing a hat that still got the tag on it. 😂😂 Thats stolen property in her possession
I love how the first guy used his turn signals a few times and when he busts the car he jumps away like a Mario character 5:00 😂
It's incredible how many people don't know that they can refuse a search of their car
