I was barely 9 years old when I saw this movie for the first time and my emotion was such that I never forgot it. Today by chance in the search for memories I met Greta again. A very nice memory from my childhood.

For those who may not realize...at the beginning... "the wondeful world of color" is actually in reference to the fact that the show is in color and not black and white like all tv shows were until about 1963 when some shows on tv started to be in color.By 1967 almost everything was made in color for the fancy new color tv sets..Black and white tvs were still available up until about 1980 and usually they were just small portable tv's.
So wrong poor dogs dumped. Please do not do this take them to a shelter so they have a chance of a new life. Greyhound can be adopted through a program. Support your local shelter please. We loved and love all we adopted from the shelter.

I remember how hard people worked to get these dogs homes. For being treated inhumanely and "disposable".

Walt was in black and white for ABC for seven years before switching to NBC for color.

I remember seeing this in the 1970s as well as one called Deacon or a Dog named Deacon. Anyone remember that one? If so, is it here on TH-cam?
