o11 dynamic evo is literally perfect unless you want more space then obviously go with the XL
After 3 months with the O11 Air Mini, I wanna try the OG O11 Dynamic! IMO, it still has better aesthetics due to thinner bezels than the Air Mini and Evo
I feel like the ease of cable management and modularity of the EVO, overtakes the aesthetic benefit of the OG 011. But it is up to the person buying it off course.
o11 air mini will give you problems with the length of the latest 4080 and 4090 GPUs. Most of these will only fit if you do not put an AIO radiator on the front of the mini case... as you cannot fit the larger GPU *and* and an AIO rad in front. Just ran into that problem, and solved it by force-fitting my 280 AIO rad on the side (with some Dremmel magic) and adding a vertical mount so the card power would go up instead of against the plate glass.
Liani Li Mini can only have SFX power supply because ATX doesn't fit.

I just built in the Mini for my wife. I was thinking about a mini too, but we did has little issue with 360mm Aio touching mobo heat sink and not allowed a single exhaust fan on the back. I’m thinking original O11 or Evo now.
I would say evo for sure! The O-11 is dated now, unless you can find one for a good deal, evo all the way!
I love the mini but sadly I need a case that can fit a 360mm Radiator so I'm gonna go with the EVO for the all white aesthetics plus having room for everything and possible upgrades.
If you're using micro ATX or mini ITX motherboard, you can easily put a 360 mm radiator on the top of the case
3 Questions?
1. How. come non of these XL's have the EVO RGB at the bottem and top, I just found this out and kinda bummed I am tired of fighting with medium cases and management control..
2. Will this fit the NZXT 240 x52 cooler?
3. My medium rig has 240 fans why are the fans smaller, like 120 - 140 fans, I have a ton of 240 fans but this case wont except it? Maybe I am misunderstanding something here.

Honestly the OG O11 in white has the better looks. Personal opinion though.
If you don't need any of the new features provided by the EVO I'd say the OG O11
still works really well for most builds. It literally has everything you need.

I've been doing a bit of research for a case that can accommodate an RTX 4090 and have discovered that the LIAN LI 0-11 (none EVO) doesn't appear to be able to accommodate the size of an RTX 4090 - All the TH-cam videos I've seen of builds with an RTX 4090 with the LIAN LI cases seem to show the EVO being the case to get if you plan to use an RTX 4090 so pretty important to keep in mind if this is your plan.
I think I saw (1) single review of a build with the none- "EVO" version of LIAN LI w/ an RTX 4090 and it really did NOT "fit' in the case - the reviewer wasn't able to put the side panel back on as the RTX 4090 was simply too big. So these "small" differences is size can actually make ALL the difference in the World. Sucks as I purchased the non- "EVO" version thinking surely it would accommodate an RTX 4090 but sadly this is not the case - So I'm returning and waiting on my "EVO" LIAN LI O-11 to come in.
Really though, if anybody has an example of a none "EVO" LIAN LI 0-11 fully accommodating an RTX 4090 I'd love to see it...Anyway so the width of the case will be a pretty damn important thing to take into consideration seeing as Graphics cards aren't likely to get smaller but larger in the future.

@@Debeatblackops2 I can’t answer with 100% certainty but I would presume the answer is “yes” as the RTX 4090 “almost does” so the RTX 4070 Ti being a bit smaller probably fits.

disappointing that the xl cannot support a 420mm aio up the top and also disappointing that you cannot swap out the front glass for a front mesh kit for intake fans at the front

when looking at the rubber feet XL seems the be almost twice ticker than the EVO, that might be nearly all difference on the high tho, i would love if you can provide the dimension on the feet from both to have a very accurate idea on both high cheers nice video

I’m really debating on getting the evo because I currently have the nzxt h510 elite case and I want to switch cases for more air flow.
H510 is a great case but the Evo is amazing for a few reasons. The most being airflow but the clear glass all the way around with no PSU hump is a beautiful look as well!

Why the o11 dynamic is a teinted glass vs the EVO is a full clear glass ? Did you customized them ?
Is there less room for the GPU in the regular o11 compared to the Mini? How do they make room for the ATX PSU compared to the SFX while using the same width?

@@HDH640 I actually have 480 and 280 Radiators and a long PSU and 4 of those 3.5” drives (for capacity storage those are still great)
There are just not many cases that could fit that combination hardware
The worst thing is that I have found some cases that check all the boxes but will not work when you need al those options at the same time

Got my O11D XL just before the EVO dropped and love the case but will be transferring over to the all white EVO with Lian Li Fans as the Corsair fans were a mess to set up 😅
I also wanna run my 4090 Strix upright 🙃 it's gonna be a challenge tho as the EVO was made for 30 series in mind which was big but it's tiny compared to the 40 series 🤫

Hey guys! I know this is an older vid, but I have a quick question regarding the Dynamic EVO. Do you guys know if a Cooler Master V3 GPU bracket would fit on the lower slots and still allow for Uni Infinity fans on the bottom? I know Lian Li has their own bracket, but I already have the CM V3 in my current case and I getting ready to order the o11 Evo. Any insight would be great. Thanks!

I have the original o11d mini and absolutely love this case. I wish a mesh front was made to replace the glass for improved air flow.

@@bachkhoi9450 I love the mini but would love to get the evo one day. That case is RIDICULOUSLY good! Now with that said if they were to make an evo version of the mini I’m sold! My space is just too small for the regular evo which is unfortunate.

The O11 XL you have is completely white (except of the cable management rubber things) but when I search for it online I only find it with a grey front plate and black frames on the glass panels, while on your case those 2 things are white

so now I'm wondering, is it some kind of special version that isn't sold anymore or have you modified it somehow or is it something else

you might be referring to the EVO case. The XL white case is black glass, silver front pantel with black shrouds for the cable managment. Hope this helps!
@Vyral Teq that is what I was saying, but in this video you're showing a case you call "the XL" that looks obviously bigger than the other ones and it's completely white, except for the shrouds for the cable management I think

My biggest issue is all are right sided they need to make a left sided case so I can do a left

So you wont just need a left sided case, you also need a mirrored motherboard, unless you want your io on the front

That my friend will be the Kraken Z63 (280 AIO) or you can use the Kraken Z73 (360 AIO). Make sure too get the one that says on the description “Customizable Screen” so you can add your own personal Photo or GIF

@@jibham205 lol yeah they are BUT they do sale versions of them with just normal black fans and you can always substitute those with some other ones like the Lian Li SL120 or AL120
@@beaszty I wish I would’ve considered that before finding an x73 on sale. I ordered that and I ordered 5 Lian Li SL120 fans before learning that the rgb on the Lian Li fans are proprietary. So annoying.
One last question.. can I install 10 fans(7+360mm radiator) in the Dynamic Evo right out of the box? I read a review of someone complaining that an additional bracket had to be bought.
@@jibham205 If you bought the Dynamic Evo then yes 🙌🏻 All 3 packs & 5 packs of lian li fans come with a controller Hub that will allow up to 4 daisy chain connections. These fans use poko pins for better cable management and also in the Evo you can install 13 fans. 1 in the rear, 3 on top, 3 on bottom, 3 on back side, and IF you get the replacement mesh panel for the front you can go with 3 120 mm fans or 2 SL 140 lian fans. The options are very open with this case!
What fans are on the second case…the o11 dynamic original?
Those are our favorite budget fans, the Asia Horse RGB fans!
@@VyralTeq have u guys had the issue where the Asia horse fans spit out oil? I’ve read multiple reviews stating that those fans spill a lot of oil over time.
