I agree with the video! There's something I'd like to add too: from my perspective, the “powercreep” of a character is often, not only based on the upcoming characters, but the enemies. Obviously the upcoming enemies are based on the upcoming characters' gimmics, which may make a certain character (wether they are a DPS or another unit) “buffed” or “less relevant”. Like it was mentioned on the video, not many enemies have had Wind weaknesses lately, making them resistant to Wind DMG and therefore more resistant to Blade. We've seen cases like Jing Yuan's in which a character considered “bad” rises thanks to the current enemies meta - the release of Acheron and the big amount of enemies with Lighting weakness, an Erudition Lighting character like Jing Yuan saw their opportunity to shine again! Love your videos man, keep them up!
if Blade gets a Furina he will be able to compete with the good characters. Until then he is still viable if you have him well built and the right supports(might require E1 Robin depending on how bad the matchup is)
Personally, Im ok with his current state since hes still useful in PF while my Feixiao will take care of MoC and AS, but still curious of the potential future characters that could synergize with my Blade or Jing Yuan. Whatever happens, Elation main will always be eating good
