Thank you Ovela for showing respect to Filipino talents in singing. It is true that so many talented in the Philippines and that's why it is so difficult to win in singing competitions.🤗👍👍
My son can sing too and he is really good at it but he can't win even an amateur singing contest here in the Philippines. Really to be able to win, you need to standout given all of the contestants have amazing voices.
I've been following you since 2017, and all I have to say is that your reaction videos are fantastic! Thank you, Ovela, for your affection for the Philippines.🥰🥰🥰🥰

I agree the fact that her voice is pretty common in the Philippines but her power to control her vibrato is crazy., that's the hardest part to master and I think That's another reason why she got 4 chairs..
- The song is originally by The Beatles, it’s an old song in the 60’s. - Shimizu is a Japanese last name. Maybe her father might be half-Filipino and half-Japanese. And her mother is Filipina. - It’s so funny when John Legend jokingly said; “Can you imagine going to a karaoke bar and then hearing this performance, this doesn’t sound like that.” 😂 That’s the power of karaoke for the Filipinos. 9:01 That’s Niall Horan from One Direction, a British boy band. I think its not just because she is Filipino but it is because her voice is unique. Filipino is known good in singing but theres something on her voice that makes her different from others. Hoping for her to win The Voice!!!!
Coming from a fellow Filipino (fil-am tho), there are a lot of talented Filipino singers yes, but sometimes what lacks from common singers in the Philippines is originality. She has originality and freshness to her voice which for me is above a lot of Filipino singers
Common singers means? Singers in the Phil dont just sing. Esp now, the competition is global. KZ, Mori, Kat, you can tell by watching their YT channel that singing in the Phil has leveld up
my mind is blown away watching your reactions about our Filipino singers. I admit that most of us learn singing through karaoke. My children and grandkids have good singing voices and practiced a lot with karaoke systems as our readily available background music without the support of actual instrumentalities.
@@joumarkancheta388Tbh, I've been watching American Idol/ The Voice and I must say, Jong's vocal is quite better than most of the contestants. The emotion and texture of his voice is what sets him apart. He is definitely born to be a star

but the problem is when we upload our own voice recordings we get caught up with copyright infringement restrictions and children as included in the video
Maybe the US, EU, Australia or any other countries should create a show wherein the creative people, the production staff and crew would go to Asian countries, especially the Philippines to hunt for the best singers. And name the show -- The Hunt. Whatcha think? 😊
Sir can you try to listen the song Ninety-seven by Ria Lei even it's only an audio? Please sir, I will wait for your reply and your reaction.. thank you in advance and God bless you 🥰

I love that you stress out the goodness of Filipino singers but I think Kaylee has something in her that many singers in the Philippines don't have, CHARISMA. I can listen to Kaylee all my life but not with those shouting Filipino belters. Like, that latest winner from TNT, she isn't very good to be honest. She sounds like a screaming cat for me. Look at her, she's nothing after TNT.
