I have my village in Dasuya, Hoshiarpur. I always love to see these routes whenever I'm going to Jammu(Vaishno Devi) or Himachal side... Many vloggers just directly come to the creamy part and doesn't show this journey. Glad that you give a POV of driving together...
Local food try to ho jayega lekin itna research Kaun krta h ki kaunsi Jagah pe waha ka best local food milta h. And long distance rides me jyada idhar udhar ka khana khane se pet upset hone ka dar bhi rehta hai.
