in awe of how well this costume turned out! i especially love all the little details from the photoshoot like the University of Law degree in Law and the gaslight gatekeep girlboss mug. if possible i'd like to know what kind of wig/styling methods you used. again, phenomenal job!
ahhh thank you so much! i LOVE the mug, I bought it for the video but it's my favorite thing now. I did record me styling the wig, but the angles weren't very good & debated on adding to it this video, but since you've asked I'll edit the footage & throw it onto youtube this week! This video helped me with trimming the bangs th-cam.com/video/pvqA7RIR7tU/w-d-xo.html (vertical cuts, dividing the bangs into 3 layers), and then I combed back the side hair & hold it all in place with bobby pins (i was too nervous to use something permanent like glue in case I messed it up)
if you haven't sewn before i think thrifting & modifying would be very approachable for this costume, feel free to hmu on instagram if you need more help!
Hi! Been loving the video as it's been so helpful as my friend and I have been making her Halloween costume but we have a question. We're having trouble with the part with the side seams and turning it rightside out. When we did that we couldn't get the shoulders to come out. Can you elaborate on what we need to do to or what we're doing wrong?

Oh! The red ones right? Those are called wonder clips, by the brand Clover! I just got them on Amazon, they are a GODSEND (but you'll still need pins for some things ☺️)
I use the dritz adjustable dress form and it gets the job done, but another option is any cheap one plus a padding kit! If you have a large budget the shop company or royal dressforms look really nice
