As a Turk, I had never thought of going to Greece for a holiday, because I thought that people did not like Turks. I watched a few interviews with the Greeks about the Turks. I realized that they (in general) think that the enmity between the two countries, like us, is political and historical. The world is global now and human life and peace is the most important thing. I want to go to Greece with my wife and child and hug your people wholeheartedly. Greetings and love from Greece.

It`s about 30 years since I came to Crete the first time as a young man in my early twenties. It was instant love.... I have visited the Island many times since, and will visit for as long as possible. Been to many great destinations around the world, but non has captured my heart as Crete. In my next life I want to be born on Crete 🤩

This is an absolutely brilliant video. Love the music. Scerenity is absolutely breath taking. My late father went to Heraklion in 1986 for a holiday. He was in the airport for 3 hours with a name like Abdul Aziz, during the Libya Panam issue. Once he was out of the airport He loved the place and people. I can see the reason why. It’s an absolute gem.
Perhaps, one of the best productions I’ve seen, not only for Greece, but travel videos in general. Excellent documentation too. This should be the standard for all travel videos on YT. Well done!
I was in Grecian waters in 1978 on a ship and I saw the Agean Sea But it wasn't until many years later I came to appreciate the Greeks .... and their cooking .... which I visit many Grecian restaurants ... and love their food ... Oh Wow it is good ...
I had only spend 5 days in Crete in end of April/May 2016, but I only had time for Heraklion, and Chania because I didn't rent a car. Buses were not running frequently during Greek Easter holiday. Chania is beautiful along he Venetian bay. I was very impressed by the Minoan artifacts, and Knossos Temple. I was visiting Rhodes for 4 days by 90 mins ferry via Fethiye Turkey in July, I can't help but to compare the colors of the beaches between Santorini, Crete and Rhodes. Crete has turquoise beaches but Santorini and Rhodes have cobalt blue beaches. The beaches around Rhodes City shows different shades of cobalt blue in the distance, lighter turquoise near the sandy beach, it is just mesmorizing. I still love Santorini, visited 4 times during different seasons :)

In my personal opinion i think elafonysos is one of the most popular and colourful beach with the beautiful contrast of the white sand united with the blue see!

Another beautifully made video. We first went to Paleochora in 1985 and this year was, I think, our 14th visit. But I can see from this that there are still interesting places in Western Crete that we still have not yet visited.
West Crete has been my top fav summer destination for the last 5 years, Chania, Paleochora, Lissos, Sougia.. 189 days more to go and will be there again, this time I'll stay for at least a month-wish I could stay there for ever! Thanx to your amazing, beautiful and very informative video now I can search for new places for this summer.
btw your website is a great reference for someone planning a trip to Greece, I like the neutral point of view so everyone can choose their route according to their taste.
I have been to Crete in 2016, I love the history. The next time if you visit Crete, try to visit Rhodes also, I think there should be ferry between islands during summer months. I was visiting Rhodes by a 90mins ferry via Fethiye, Turkey this past July. You will like Anthony Quinn Bay and Lindo Bay, crystal clear beach, also full history. The biggest different is the color of the sea, Crete's beach is mostly turquoise, east of Rhodes beaches is colbolt blue but sky blue near the sandy area. I think it's because of Aegean Sea

Great place, amazing filming. Miss that beautiful island and hopefully get back after corona. There are very few places where I feel like at home. Crete is one of them.

Byłem tam, ten film dobrze odwzorowuje jak to tam wszystko wygląda.
O Plakias gdzie byłem 2 lata temu widać, że nie wiedziałem dużej ilości rzeczy np ten tunel.
