- Owen Browning (Adam Devine) is a straight-laced bank manager about to marry the love of his life, Parker (Nina Dobrev). Haven't seen Ellen Barkin in ages, and I'm glad to see that she still looks great. Not quite as fabulous as Michelle Pffeifer in Ant Man, but she's definitely another actress who has aged really well. As for Pierce, I don't know why he isn't still playing James Bond. He still is obnoxiously handsome, and has that flair that very few movie stars command. An action comedy like this? I'm definitely up for it.

I met him in 1980 when he was a guest at the Hyatt Regency Maui, where I worked at the time. He was one of the nicest and most polite guests we’d ever had stay at the hotel. A true gentleman. 💜

I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a Northern Irish accent. I could be wrong but my memory is of him having an Irish accent.
edit: to clarify Northern Irish is the British version of Irish. Irish is non-British/ Republic of Ireland.
He was born in Navan, Co. Meath which borders Dublin. And raised in London. Normally Pierce has a English accent but he knows Irish accents. He's doing a Northern accent but is no way from Northern Ireland.
His accent is British because he moved there with his mam when he was 10 but he's Itmrish from Navan in meath...........the accent in this film is Northern Irish not a meath accent
I'd say he still has an Irish (Meath) accent but it's been Anglicized from living in London 😅

The most surprising thing, for me, about this movie is that it's a Happy Maddison movie and only 1 Happy Maddisob regular was in the movie. Very unusual. Tbh, I didn't even know it was a Happy Maddison movie untill I pressed play and heard "Terrific"
Casting is amazing, hiring Richard kind to play Adam's dad was brilliant, I think he just might be in real life too some how. Plus it has Michael rooker in it, he's always amazing. Can't wait to see this one

I think that them being robbers is actually just sth that will happen in the first 20 minutes of the movie. It's not the whole thing. Read the movie Summery, it's also there. Therefore, it's the plot, not the main twist.
It’s cool to see Pierce having fun at this point in his career. Less prestige scripts and just more fun roles like this and Doctor fate.
